Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.

Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.

Scoped community pistes and eight source-matched passenger installations across the village and upper Postăvarul network. The source-listed Kanzel and Subteleferic drag lifts are omitted because community geometry marks them disused; this does not establish their current operating status. Abandoned Slalom is excluded. Some unnamed connectors and the Sulinar alignment are approximate; use the official original and staff instructions. Grey lines have no accepted local colour. Geometry is incomplete, is not the operator’s piste/lift inventory and does not establish opening, grooming or a navigable route.

HOW THE AREA CONNECTS

Understand the sectors.

01

Bradul and Stadion

Access: Separate village learning areas and surface lifts.

Match the lesson provider and meeting point to the intended base.

02

Upper Postăvarul and Ruia

Access: Capra Neagră, Kanzel and Postăvarul Expres have distinct village starts; Ruia chair and drag lift are different.

Confirm the required installations and open marked descent before changing sector.

03

Lupului lower sector

Access: The separate Lupului chair serves the lower side of the network.

The name also appears on different piste sections; do not infer one uniform grade or an open return.

01

Match the start to the lesson or lift

Bradul and Stadion are village learning areas; the two cable cars and Postăvarul Expres have distinct base starts. Confirm the exact meeting and drop-off location. A resort marker is not a verified accessible entrance.

02

Keep the upper and lower lift identities separate

The map connects the upper Kanzel/Postăvarul sector through named descents toward Ruia and the village; Lupului’s chair serves the lower sector. Ruia chairlift and Ruia drag lift are different. Confirm all required installations before moving between sectors.

03

Check the descent and bus home separately

Confirm the last usable open run or permitted lift descent to the intended base with staff. The carrier’s June 2026 line 20 return sheet lists 23:59; seasonal 60/100 and future winter departures remain unconfirmed. Do not infer an open village return from this map.

Choose the marked Postăvarul terrain

Poiana Brașov is the managed alpine ski area above the resort village on Postăvarul. Keep it separate from the Tâmpa sightseeing cable car in Brașov and from walking, touring and unmarked mountain terrain. The operator advertises twelve slopes but supplies seven detailed named rows; the municipality’s hosted 2017 regulation uses another inventory and different lengths. These scopes are retained rather than added together or presented as a current surveyed total.

Bradul and Stadion are the operator’s beginner choices at the village. Sulinar and the upper network serve different abilities. The original map uses blue for easy, red for middle and black for difficult; these are local categories. Drumul Roșu is drawn blue, while the current English and Romanian tables call it medium-easy. Its name is not a red grade. All seven displayed piste rows were closed at the source check, with no dated 2026/27 ski-opening or closing boundary accepted.

Separate base uplift from the upper lifts

Two cable cars, Capra Neagră and Kanzel, and the Postăvarul Expres gondola link village starts to the upper mountain. Ruia and Lupului are chairlifts; Bradul, Stadion, Subteleferic, Ruia and Kanzel also have separately named drag-lift entries. Ruia the chairlift and Ruia the drag lift are distinct installations. The source’s English Subteleferic cable-car label conflicts with the Romanian Teleski and the map; retain it as a drag lift.

The live English and Romanian tables showed only Capra Neagră open, with 09:00–16:00 displayed; the gondola, Kanzel cable car and other installations were closed. This is an undated observation of the published panel, not a promise of ski operation. The closed chairlift rows still show different nominal finishing times, and some drag-lift hours are blank. Confirm the actual boarding and descent arrangements with staff before using an upper connection or relying on a last lift.

Plan the village approach and the final transfer

The tourism association describes the main road from Brașov via Drumul Poienii, about 12 km from the city centre, and RATBV line 20 from Livada Poștei to the village’s Parcarea Mare. The carrier’s actual departure and return sheets are valid from 5 June 2026. They list the first outward departure at 06:00 on weekdays and 06:30 at weekends, an outward last trip at 23:30 and a return last trip at 23:59. These dated carrier sheets differ from the operator page’s midnight and frequency summary; check service changes for the intended day.

The operator still describes seasonal lines 60 and 100 after an unspecified 28 January opening. Their current linked timetable frames returned 404, so no 2026/27 ski-bus operation or direct station transfer is confirmed. The association’s Poiana Mică parking hours, tariff and park-and-ride offer are undated and need day-specific confirmation. Parcarea Mare is not a verified step-free boarding point for every lift: arrange the final walk, parking, snow crossing and assistance individually. The website accessibility statement concerns digital content, not physical lift or adapted-ski access.

Keep the published winter tariff in its edition

The operator explicitly labels its time subscriptions and points cards for 2025/26. As historical planning context, the adult one-day subscription is RON 240 and the child category aged 6–12 is RON 140; four hours from purchase is RON 180/110. These are not accepted 2026/27 quotes. The ten-day product may be consecutive or nonconsecutive, and points cards deduct a different amount by installation and period; they are not interchangeable with unlimited time passes.

Single ascent/descent tickets apply only to the stated major installations; the separate Tâmpa and non-ski cycling tables do not describe this ski pass. Under-six free travel requires an accompanying family member according to the operator. The page says online tickets are date-specific and counter changes incur an additional fee, without establishing a current refund or cancellation promise. The linked municipal SkiBv portal explicitly says the 2025/26 season has ended and unused services do not roll forward. No future purchase or accepted current checkout is claimed.

Follow closures and current mountain instructions

The municipality’s hosted six-page regulation is annexed to HCL 635/2017. It requires respect for closures, protective boundaries and staff instructions, controlled speed and care at narrow or blind sections; it also requires helmets for children under 14. Treat this as the inspected document’s stated edition and check current local restrictions before skiing. The posted original map and community geometry do not establish that a slope, connection or return is open, groomed or suitable for a particular skier.

The 2017 text describes a limited night-touring corridor using Drumul Roșu and a return by 22:00, together with lights/reflective clothing and separate daytime edge rules. It does not grant today’s general uphill or after-hours access: preparation, closures and staff restrictions still govern. This profile’s geometry covers marked alpine pistes and verified passenger lifts only. For an emergency use 112; the current local rescue service also publishes the national Salvamont dispatcher 0725 826 668. Its administrative line is not an emergency substitute.

Match lessons, hire and assistance to the base

The operator locates Ana Ski & Snowboard School and its rental centre within Ana Hotels Sport on Valea Dragă Street, with lessons and hire enquiries at +40 268 407 330. Its lesson price panel explicitly expired on 7 April 2024. The same page mentions a minimum of three in its group-price row and six in its group-description text; confirm the current group, meeting place and written tariff. Do not repeat the promotional assurance that a lesson enables every route.

The hire page lists ski, snowboard, boot and helmet options but does not date the displayed prices, so confirm equipment, fit, collection and return times rather than promising those rates. General lift enquiries use the published Ana Teleferic contact +40 268 407 353 and office@anateleferic.ro. No verified adapted lesson, chair boarding arrangement, accessible toilet or continuous step-free transfer chain has been established; contact the relevant provider for the individual requirements before booking.

SOURCE CHECKED

Complete review of all ten scopes with explicit uncertainties. Preserve twelve advertised versus seven technical rows and the 2017 municipal inventory, map/table grade and lift-type conflicts, undated status, old tariff/lesson editions and unavailable seasonal timetable frames. Community geometry and archive photography do not establish current operation or physical accessibility.
