Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.
Independent ODbL community geometry covers the named managed downhill alignments on Tanvaldský Špičák I and II around their shared summit. Severák, neighbouring village lifts, Nordic tracks, bike trails, the ski jumps, unnamed learner areas and unverified auxiliary alignments are omitted. Community lift letters and piste numbers differ from the operator table; names identify mapped alignments, not a current commissioned installation inventory. The older mapped Špičák I chair alignment does not verify the replacement chair’s specification or exact footprint. All generic difficulty remains grey because no literal local colour has been established for these ways. Snapshot time is the original canonical OSM API HTTP response Date, not an Overpass replication timestamp. Unconfirmed: the linked official interactive winter-map page is accessible, but its artwork edition, exact geometry comparison and preview or reproduction rights are not established; operator artwork is omitted. Mapped ways and polygons are not a piste count, current skiing, grooming, patrol, access permission, safe navigation or a guaranteed return.
Access: The western lower chair base has parking and the nearby Tanvaldský Špičák railway station. Match your hire and return to this base rather than assuming a transfer from Špičák II.
The operator names Turistická, Závodní, Pod lesem and approach lifts here. The older chair specification conflicts with later replacement references; no current seat count or capacity is asserted.
02
Špičák II and Zalomený
Access: The separate Albrechtice base serves the Špičák II chair, Zalomený and the children’s facilities. The official ski-school meeting point is at this base.
Kostelní, Slalomák and Rukáv are named in the area’s published piste information. Historical evening skiing refers specifically to Zalomený; it is not an all-area night opening.
03
Shared summit and separate neighbouring areas
Access: Both named chairs reach the summit area, but actual open connecting pistes and the final return must be checked with staff.
Severák, nearby village lifts, the Nordic network and summer bikepark are separate operations. Shared ownership or ticket validity does not make them a continuous ski circuit.
01
Start: choose Špičák I or II
Špičák I has the nearby railway station and workshop; Špičák II is the Albrechtice ski-school base. Match your arrival, hire and lesson. The approximate pin marks the community lower-I alignment, not a reserved or accessible entrance.
02
Connect: shared summit, separate operating scopes
The two named chairs reach the summit area, with distinct approach and learner lifts below. Confirm the actual open descent before crossing sides. Severák, village lifts, Nordic tracks and the summer bikepark remain outside this alpine map.
03
Return: establish the final route to your actual base
Unconfirmed: 2026/27 last skier boarding, download entitlement, connecting descents and a dated final skibus are not established. Ask staff before changing side; the old 16:15 bus and historic evening session do not guarantee your return.
Choose Špičák I or II for your transport and lesson, check the current winter operation and ticket scope, and establish the complete return to the same base.

Choose the base and follow local piste grades
This guide covers the managed Tanvaldský Špičák I/II alpine area, rather than the operator’s separate Severák resort or the wider Jizera Nordic network. The operator describes two chair-served sides around the shared summit; the linked interactive map gives a 542–812 m area range. Your chosen arrival base, lesson and return descent need to match.
The report names Turistická, Závodní, Slalomák, Rukáv, Kostelní, Zalomená, Pod lesem and children’s terrain. Conflicting sources: the older area description advertises 8.2 km, while the report uses a 9 km denominator; its combined and split named rows are not a consistent unique-piste inventory. Neither figure is replaced by the count of community ways or polygons.
Local operator descriptions use blue, red and black grades, including mixed-grade descents. Follow the signed grade and open status for the actual piste. Unconfirmed: current snow, grooming, patrol coverage, usable learner terrain and a suitable complete return are not established. This guide does not authorize Nordic, touring, off-piste or bike access.
Distinguish mapped alignments from current installations
The operator separates chairlift A at Špičák I and chairlift B at Špičák II, with Zalomený, Pod lesem, children’s, approach and conveyor facilities. The winter rules name the lower I parking base and lower II Albrechtice parking base, both with summit exits. A common summit does not establish that every connecting descent is open or suitable.
Conflicting sources: the older area description and report retain two four-seat chair specifications, while later operator notices refer to a new Špičák I chair and a new detachable Leitner installation. The community map also retains older lift letters and piste numbers. Current seat counts, capacities, commissioning details and exact replacement footprint are omitted.
Historical: the 1 March 2026 notice gives daily 08:30–16:00 operation and Tuesday/Friday/Saturday 17:00–20:00 evenings at Zalomený; the 26 March notice says that winter ended on 22 March. Unconfirmed: current public skiing, exact 2026/27 season boundaries, daily skier hours, last boarding, download rights and complete base return are not established. The summer banner and tariff time bands do not supply them.
Arrange transport to the same base you will return to
The operator describes a road approach via Turnov, Jablonec nad Nisou and Smržovka to Albrechtice, with two parking areas at the lift bases and a railway station near Špičák I. Our approximate pin follows the community lower-I chair alignment. It is not the Špičák II ski-school meeting point, a reserved parking space or a verified accessible entrance.
Historical: the currently published skibus page applies to 29 December 2025–15 March 2026, at CZK 20 per person per journey. Its last listed Špičák I return is 16:15; groups must book at least two days ahead and service depends on the ski areas operating. These are the old timetable’s conditions, not a 2026/27 last bus. The school tariff separately lists CZK 40 return transport.
Unconfirmed: a dated 2026/27 bus and rail itinerary, winter parking availability and charges, walking conditions, accessible boarding assistance and the complete final connection home are not established. Confirm the actual stop, day and transfer before travelling; a shared pass does not provide a ski connection or guaranteed bus to Severák.
Check the date, age band and exact lift entitlement
The published 2026/27 main-price period is 25 December 2026–14 March 2027. Listed one-day prices are CZK 1,200 for adults 18–62.99, CZK 1,030 for juniors 15–17.99 and seniors 63+, CZK 860 for children 6–14.99, and CZK 560 in the youngest column. The refundable hands-free card deposit is CZK 100. These price dates are not a confirmed ski-season calendar.
Three- and five-hour tickets begin at the first gate passage; the ten-hour product deducts half-hour blocks over the season. The special learner ticket is restricted to C, D, E, H and I and does not include the two main chairs A/B. Špičák tickets are listed as valid at Severák, but the areas and transport remain separate. School-group products need the specified school evidence; their lower prices are not public adult fares.
Conflicting sources: the same tariff lists paid youngest-child products while saying children aged 0–6 accompanied by a paying adult ride chairs A/B free. The older transport terms also include Bedřichov and broader cross-area products absent from the current tariff wording. Confirm the exact child age, lift, pass and cross-area entitlement before payment. Unconfirmed: live checkout availability, individual concessions and the current application of historical compensation terms are not established.
Respect closures and confirm assistance before skiing
The operator’s winter rules are marked effective 1 December 2024. They prohibit skiing outside marked pistes and touring uphill or downhill after lift closure. They specify closed-piste grooming periods of 16:30–08:00, or 20:15–08:00 for evening pistes; these are access restrictions, not promised lift hours. Obey earlier local closures, snowmaking barriers, grooming vehicles and staff directions.
The published rules recommend helmets and require young children to have the specified capable accompaniment. Assisted chair or surface-lift transport requires prior agreement with staff and an adult companion; a listing is not an individual accessibility approval. The current tariff says pedestrians are not carried on the chairs during winter operation. Follow the operator’s FIS guidance on speed, visibility, priority, junctions and helping after an accident.
The operator contact page lists Mountain Rescue SOS +420 1210 and emergency 112, with the Špičák rescue station at +420 483 381 566. Unconfirmed: actual patrol staffing, rescue response, individual assisted evacuation and the complete safe return are not established. Ask staff about your route, equipment and final connection before entering another sector; the map is not navigation or permission to enter closed terrain.
Book equipment, lessons and help at the correct base
The official Skiaréna School identifies its Špičák meeting point at Špičák II, at the end of the parking area by the ticket cabins, and takes bookings by phone at +420 732 751 119. Severák has its own school location and phone. Agree the lesson level, meeting point, equipment and exact included lift entitlement; do not assume a booking covers unrestricted skiing.
The operator advertises ski and snowboard hire and a workshop at Špičák I in the lift building by the parking area. The service page lists 08:15–16:30 and +420 601 503 720, skisport@skibizu.cz. Historical: those undated workshop hours are not verified winter lift hours or a current collection/return commitment. The general contact page lists a different I hire/school contact, +420 731 412 100; confirm which service you need.
SKI Bižu s.r.o. lists its office at Pražská 4200/20, 46601 Jablonec nad Nisou, info@skibizu.cz and +420 483 710 999, with weekday office hours 08:00–15:00. The Špičák operation contact is +420 733 535 350. Unconfirmed: current hire stock, lesson availability, restaurant opening, toilets, storage and individual step-free assistance are not established. Contact the chosen base before booking.
Selected source-checked references only. Use the complete official plan for the network; this list is not the resort’s total piste count or live opening report.
