01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
A guide to the 51st edition’s main race: course planning, paid entry, bib collection, cut-offs and arrival. The wider festival runs 13–21 February; this profile covers the 20 February 50 km race. All times are local: Europe/Warsaw, CET, UTC+01:00.
The organiser’s 2027 main-race page links a 50 km course sheet and elevation profile. The previously inspected sheet marks the Jakuszyce start/finish, kilometre points and refreshment, medical and pole-replacement symbols. Open the original at the source; no operator map artwork is reproduced here. The planned 50 km and advertised 730 m ascent/descent are organiser figures, not an independent survey or a promise of race-day snow.
Unconfirmed: the final technical bulletin’s route marking, detailed sector departures, deployed service points and awards times are not established by the present guide. The 2027 rules allow a changed or shortened course in poor weather or insufficient snow. Use the latest briefing and marked race route, not an old track file, a public training loop or the location pin.
Ski classic and complete the marked course and every checkpoint. The rules prohibit obstructing others, skating in classic races and joining the course without a valid bib. Ski changes are allowed only for damage. Keep the bib visible and unchanged, dispose of waste only in designated feeding zones and bring no glass containers onto or beside the race course. Spectators should keep race, service and emergency lanes clear.
The 2027 rules set a minimum age of 18 on race day for 50 km and a ceiling of 1,800 paid entries, which the organiser may change. Registration is electronic through the linked Datasport system and becomes valid after payment, subject to capacity. No race-day additions or entry changes are allowed. Unconfirmed: remaining entry capacity and the final accepted field have not been verified. This long-distance race requires appropriate classic technique and preparation.
02 / PUBLISHED PROGRAMME
The published timetable.
Friday, February 19, 2027
Previous-day bib collection
The race page and linked 2027 rules agree on these hours at Dolnośląskie Centrum Sportu, first floor, entrance from the clearing. Bring the registration QR ticket; an identity document is accepted if the ticket is unavailable. Collecting for another skier requires their ticket or the signed authorisation described in the rules.Saturday, February 20, 2027
Race-day bib office opens
Conflicting sources: checked 29 October 2026, the 2027 race page gives 06:00 until the start, while section VIII of the linked 51st-edition rules gives 06:00–17:00. The rules separately require collection at least 15 minutes before the distance starts. Do not use the later closing time as a collection deadline; confirm the applicable cutoff before travel.Saturday, February 20, 2027
50 km classic wave starts
The published 2027 rules and course sheet begin the main race at 08:00. Start in the assigned sector and pass its entry control. The rules close elite, first and second sector entry ten minutes before their planned start. Unconfirmed: final individual sector allocation and the technical bulletin’s detailed wave arrangements are not yet established here.Saturday, February 20, 2027
35 km intermediate cut-off
Section V.10 of the 2027 rules sets this intermediate time limit. Skiers outside the limit must stop; notify an official, volunteer or medical staff if retiring. A later personal wave does not establish an extension.Saturday, February 20, 2027
50 km finish time limit
The 2027 rules set this finish limit. Follow the final briefing and officials if weather forces a shorter or changed course. The awards timetable is reserved for a later technical announcement.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST
Attend with the live instructions.
Unconfirmed: remaining capacity has not been verified. Electronic paid entry is listed.
This guide covers the main 50 km classic entry. The rules list a bib and timing, refreshment points, finish meal, medal, changing room and baggage service, medical support and the Szklarska Poręba–Jakuszyce return bus on 19–21 February. The final transfer timetable remains unconfirmed; do not treat the package as a booked connection.. Checked 29 October 2026: the main-race page and 2027 rules list PLN 200 through 31 October 2026, PLN 220 through 31 December, PLN 270 through 31 January 2027 and PLN 380 from 1 February. The payment date determines the tier. The optional expanded package costs extra. Unconfirmed: age-discount eligibility should be checked with registration because the rules’ age and birth-year descriptions are inconsistent. Withdrawal brings no refund or carry-forward. Organiser-approved distance/person changes are allowed only through 4 February, subject to capacity, a PLN 20 change fee and any higher entry-price difference. Cancellation instead promises an unspecified discount for the next edition, not a stated cash refund.

Official broadcast hub04 / SPECTATOR ACCESS
The pin is not the gate.
The organiser’s contact-map reference is used for orientation near Polana Jakuszycka. It is not a verified race entrance, start sector, parking space or step-free route. The 2027 rules name Dolnośląskie Centrum Sportu, Jakuszyce 8, and place bib collection on the first floor, with entry from the clearing. Follow the final venue signs and confirm your last mile.
The 2027 rules provide free Szklarska Poręba–Jakuszyce return buses on 19–21 February and recommend public transport or rail. Jakuszyce parking is paid, limited and not reserved by the organiser. Unconfirmed: exact shuttle stops, departures, return times and boarding/assistance arrangements remain subject to the final technical bulletin; the general inclusion does not establish your connection to the 08:00 start or a spectator reservation.
Historical: the carrier timetable available on 29 October 2026 runs only through 12 December 2026. Its today/tomorrow/week route display does not verify a train on 20 February 2027. Unconfirmed: exact race-day rail departures, return connections, ski carriage and individual station-to-venue assistance must be checked in the applicable new timetable and with the carrier before booking an itinerary.
Historical: the venue’s accessibility declaration is dated 5 January 2023. It describes ramped entrances, adapted lifts, toilets and reception points at platform level 0 and stadium level 1, with reception assistance from 07:00 to 19:00. These older building provisions do not verify the event’s exact first-floor bib-office route or help at its 06:00 opening. Unconfirmed: the usable race-day entrance, lift route, snowy last mile and required early assistance must be confirmed for the actual visitor.
The 2027 rules let a skier with a valid disability certificate start ten minutes before the elite group with net timing, or from the assigned results-based sector. This sporting provision does not itself establish physical access, an accessible shuttle or an accompanying person’s entitlement. Arrange personal requirements with the organiser; do not walk onto the course to find a viewing position.
