Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.
Independent ODbL community geometry covers the managed French La Rosière network from the Centre and Les Eucherts bases, including Les Ecudets, Petit Bois, Roches Noires, Plan du Repos, Fort, Bellecombe and Mont-Valaisan. La Thuile and its Italian downhill network are outside this scope. Two mapped Poletta sections are not two independent lifts; the parallel Bellecombe 1 alignments remain separate community sections. Unidentified and school-only carpets, technical Catex, Italian lifts and pistes, touring, freeride, extreme, private, proposed and disused objects are omitted. Local colours appear only where literally recorded in OSM; other community difficulty remains grey. Snapshot time is the earliest original canonical OSM tile HTTP response Date, not an Overpass replication timestamp. Unconfirmed: the operator winter-map landing and download control are accessible, but a current artwork edition, exact footprint comparison and preview or reproduction rights are not established; operator artwork is omitted. Mapped ways are not a piste count, complete installation inventory, current skiing, grooming, patrol, access permission, safe navigation or a guaranteed return.
Access: The operator identifies three entrances: the Centre by Maison du Ski, Les Eucherts, and Les Ecudets on the road from Séez. Choose the base that matches your transport, lesson and equipment collection.
Roches Noires, Eucherts, Dahu and Petit Bois are distinct passenger installations; Les Ecudets is a lower arrival option. Their existence does not establish an open return descent or suitable learner itinerary.
02
Plan du Repos, Fort and Bellecombe
Access: The French upper network includes Plan du Repos, Fort, Chardonnet and Bellecombe. The operator defines the French area as extending to the top of Bellecombe II.
Espace San Bernardo combines France and La Thuile in Italy. An international pass, a road pass and a working ski connection are three different things; confirm both outward and return links before crossing.
03
Mont-Valaisan
Access: The operator names Moulins and Mont-Valaisan lifts and places the area high point at 2,800 m. Confirm the signed open route to and from this upper sector.
The separate Freeride du Mont-Valaisan line is outside this managed-downhill map scope. High-altitude terrain and a future winter calendar do not establish current skiing, avalanche safety or a complete return.
01
Start: Centre, Les Eucherts or Les Ecudets
Select one of the operator’s three French entrances to match your transport, lesson and hire. The approximate pin is at Roches Noires near the Centre; Maison du Ski and Les Eucherts are distinct bases, while Les Ecudets is on the Séez approach.
02
Connect: French upper sectors and a separate border link
Distinguish Plan du Repos, Fort/Bellecombe and Mont-Valaisan from the Italian La Thuile network. This community map covers the French managed area. A valid Espace San Bernardo pass does not establish a working outward or return international connection.
03
Return: confirm the whole route to your arrival base
Unconfirmed: last skier boarding, cross-border return, download and the complete final connection to each French base are not established. Ask staff before changing sector. The Petit-Saint-Bernard winter road is closed; it is not an assumed missed-lift route.
Plan a day around the managed French sectors, distinguish an international pass from an available connection to La Thuile, and confirm the complete return to your chosen base.

Choose the French sector and local grade
La Rosière is the French side of the linked Espace San Bernardo. The operator defines it from Séez to the top of Bellecombe II, with La Thuile on the Italian side. The tourism area page describes a 1,176–2,800 m range; the village reference is 1,850 m. These different references are not interchangeable base elevations.
The operator advertises 156 km and 83 pistes alongside the wider linked area. Tourism also advertises 39 French/Italian lifts. Those are published whole-area claims, not an inventory of this French community map or a count of its individual line segments. Choose between lower base terrain, the Fort/Bellecombe connection and the high Mont-Valaisan sector using actual signs and staff advice.
Local French grades are green, blue, red and black. Generic community difficulty has no inferred universal colour. Touring itineraries, freeride, off-piste terrain and special activity lines are outside this guide’s managed-downhill scope. Unconfirmed: current grooming, patrol, snow, open terrain and a suitable complete learner return are not established.
The operator’s French report separates La Rosière, Fort and Mont-Valaisan. Named passenger installations include Roches Noires, Eucherts, Plan du Repos, Ecudets, Dahu, Petit Bois, Fort, Chardonnet, Bellecombe, Moulins and Mont-Valaisan, plus learner surface lifts. Community lift sections and aliases are not a complete commissioned installation inventory.
The current operator pages publish 12 December 2026–17 April 2027 for France and 12 December–11 April for the full linked area. Conflicting sources: the English tourism media page retains an undated 19 April close; it does not establish the 2026/27 French or international end date. The dated operator and French tourism sources are used for their exact stated scopes.
Unconfirmed: current public skiing, lift-specific opening and final boarding, the latest safe cross-border departure, download entitlement and the complete return to Centre, Les Eucherts or Les Ecudets are not established. The report’s retained summer-style Saturday note and empty winter hours are not a usable winter timetable. Confirm every part of the return with staff before entering a different sector.
Reach the chosen French base and arrange the journey home
The operator lists Centre/Maison du Ski, Les Eucherts and Les Ecudets as three access points. Our approximate pin is at the lower Roches Noires station near the Centre; it is not a parking reservation, accessible entrance or a promise that your chosen lift will run. Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the rail gateway, followed by the actual dated bus or road transfer through Séez.
The tourism alert dates closure of the Petit-Saint-Bernard road pass to 2 November 2026. A ski connection to Italy is separate from that closed winter road. The municipality publishes S80 service for 12 December 2026–17 April 2027, including a Saturday last direct descent at 18:45 and EUR 3 single journeys. It requires at least 48-hour advance booking for reduced-mobility travel and prohibits wearing ski boots aboard; consult the actual dated timetable and reserve the correct stop.
The tourism page describes free internal skibuses and evening links between Centre and Les Eucherts. Unconfirmed: the applicable dated internal timetable, your complete rail/bus connection, parking spaces and charges, winter walking conditions and individual step-free assistance are not established. A Saturday bus departure is not a daily last lift or a guarantee of return from Italy.
Distinguish a French ticket from international access
The published 2026/27 tariff lists France-only adult 4-hour and 1-day tickets at EUR 49 and EUR 55, respectively; child 5–12 prices are EUR 37 and EUR 41.50, and senior 65–74 prices EUR 44 and EUR 49.50. Espace San Bernardo adult 4-hour and 1-day prices are EUR 54 and EUR 59. Listed prices include VAT but exclude the EUR 2 reusable card. Check the actual product, date and age evidence before paying.
The FAQ says France-only tickets cover four hours or one day; consecutive products from two days include the wider international area. A France-only pass needs the appropriate Italy extension before crossing. The three-hour beginner product is restricted to its named learner lifts; a pedestrian/snowshoe product is a different entitlement. Do not assume that an age concession, lesson booking or international pass covers every installation and return.
Conflicting sources: the FAQ describes a 50% reduced-mobility concession on the adult international day ticket, while the dedicated accessibility page says 50% on all passes. Ask the operator to confirm the exact product and required CMI invalidity evidence. Unconfirmed: live checkout availability, individual concession eligibility, exact final download rights and compensation for a particular interruption are not established; the applicable terms and product govern the purchase.
Respect closures and prepare for a complete return
Follow marked open pistes, local grades, lift instructions and patrol directions. The operator warns that crossed marker poles indicate danger and a closure rope or closure sign prohibits entry. Check weather, equipment and conditions, control speed at junctions and avoid stopping in narrow or blind places. No touring, avalanche, off-piste or closed-piste access permission is supplied by this map.
The operator requires helmets and third-party liability insurance for the Italian side and recommends a helmet in France. Carry the documents and cover required for the actual itinerary and check current operator rules before crossing. Its rescue guidance says to use the number printed on the pass or the Espace San Bernardo app assistance function, and provide the piste name and numbered marker or exact location; rescue is chargeable.
Unconfirmed: actual on-site patrol and medical availability, rescue response, avalanche conditions, individual assisted evacuation and a safe complete return are not established. Establish the final French/Italian connection and the return to your real arrival base before setting out. A closed pass road cannot provide an assumed rescue or missed-lift transfer.
Arrange hire, lessons and assistance at the right base
The tourism directory lists hire in the Centre and Les Eucherts, including Precision Ski Centre, Intersport Centre and Skiset Olympic Sports Les Eucherts. Book the intended collection and return location, appropriate equipment and any storage arrangements; a shop listing does not establish its current stock, prices or hours.
ESF has distinct Centre and Eucherts entries, alongside Evolution 2, Oxyski and other schools. Agree the actual lesson meeting point, level, equipment, pass and usable learner terrain. The operator lists selected accessible toilets and adaptive providers, but specific equipment and lift assistance must be arranged directly.
The operator contact is Maison du Ski, 956 route du Col du Petit Saint-Bernard, 73700 Montvalezan, +33 4 79 40 12 00 and dsr@dsr-larosiere.com. The tourism office at 705 route du Col du Petit Saint-Bernard lists +33 4 79 06 80 51. Unconfirmed: dated service hours, hire/lesson availability, restaurant opening and individual accessibility or assistance are not established. Ticket-desk hours remain distinct from skiing and lift hours.
Selected source-checked references only. Use the complete official plan for the network; this list is not the resort’s total piste count or live opening report.
04 / AT THE BASE
Facilities that change the day.
Tourism-listed ski and snowboard hire in the Centre and Les Eucherts; confirm the exact shop and return time. Separate ski schools, including ESF, Evolution 2 and Oxyski; arrange the actual base and lesson meeting point. Operator-listed ticket desks, selected accessible toilets and adaptive services; individual equipment, assistance and availability require prior confirmation.
