SKI AREA LAYOUTOperator counters, named piste/stadium rows and community segments use different scopes; none is treated as a complete surveyed current inventory.
UPLIFTThe operator lists five chairlifts and ten other installations, including school-only Golondrina. Independent community alignments do not establish present operation or unrestricted public access.
LOCAL DIFFICULTYRetain local beginner/intermediate/advanced/expert wording and on-site grades. Generic OSM difficulty is not converted to local colours; independent pistes remain grey.

Lifts

Unconfirmed: the operator map page is linked separately, but a current artwork edition and lawful inline preview have not been verified; no operator artwork is reproduced in this guide. The independent extent covers named community downhill corridors and fifteen passenger alignments from the village learner bases towards Piuquenes, Tórtolas and Fabres. Golondrina is school-only. Neighbouring resorts, unidentified/numeric fragments, doubtful peripheral identities and private/backcountry/freeride/extreme terrain are omitted. Grey pistes have no verified local colour. Segments are not an official inventory, current footprint, opening report, permitted inter-resort link, complete-return guarantee or navigation.

HOW THE AREA CONNECTS

Understand the sectors.

01

Village and School Camp

Access: Parva Chica and lower learner references

Confirm your actual meeting base and ticket. Golondrina is reserved for the operator’s school.

02

Central and upper slopes

Access: Flores, Alpha, Nevada, Franciscano and Piuquenes references

Choose suitable open terrain; a mapped alignment is no confirmation of a current connection or return.

03

Tórtolas and Fabres

Access: Eastern and southern passenger-lift references

Retained 2026 hours close these lifts earlier; check actual departures and return to your own base.

01

Choose the correct village starting base

The operator gives Emile Allais 91; the pin uses the community lower Parva Chica endpoint. School Camp uses Golondrina, Ositos, Manzanito and Paloma, with Golondrina reserved for the school. Confirm your actual meeting point, road access and required assistance.

02

Check each sector connection independently

The operator distinguishes the village learner area from Franciscano, Piuquenes, Tórtolas and Fabres. Ask staff which suitable signed connections are actually open. A pass mentioning Valle Nevado does not establish a skiable inter-resort route or shared timetable.

03

Confirm the return before ascending

Choose a suitable open descent to your own village base and check the final departure before boarding. The retained 2026 schedule closes Tórtolas and Fabres earlier. Do not assume download permission, an open neighbouring-resort passage or a booked road transfer.

Separate La Parva’s managed alpine slopes from the wider Andes

La Parva is a managed alpine ski area in Lo Barnechea above Santiago, with a mountain village and a separate operator identity from neighbouring El Colorado, Farellones and Valle Nevado. This guide covers its managed downhill terrain and passenger-lift references, not touring routes, unpatrolled off-piste terrain or a combined three-resort circuit.

The operator’s published terrain page describes 800 hectares and a longest piste of 4 km. Its named table distinguishes beginner areas such as Manzanito, Osito and La Paloma, intermediate Parva Chica, Franciscano and Tórtolas, advanced Lomo Flores and Valle Amarillo, and expert terrain such as Vegas and Descenso. These are attributed descriptions, not a surveyed current inventory or a promise that each slope is available.

Conflicting sources: the same operator page advertises more than 40 pistes, lists 36 named rows across main, secondary and stadium sections, and ends with wording about more than 30 pistes. Its 15-installation summary calls ten installations surface lifts, but the detailed rows include a Golondrina conveyor alongside nine drag lifts and five chairlifts. These different scopes are not one independently verified total.

The winter safety rules describe local green beginner, blue intermediate, red difficult and black very difficult grading. Conditions can increase difficulty. Generic community difficulty tags are not converted to these colours; independent piste geometry remains grey because exact line-by-line local colours were not verified. Follow the actual signs and staff instructions.

Historical: Saint Ex’s genuine photograph shows La Parva village and snow-covered slopes on 3 August 2011. The original JPEG is unchanged, with responsive display crops under CC BY-SA 3.0. This archive context does not establish current snow, buildings, skiing or access.

Check your base, school area and complete return before boarding

The operator identifies Parva Chica, Enlace, Águilas, Vegas, Manzanito, Paloma, Osito, Golondrina, Nevada, Franciscano, Piuquenes, Alpha, Fabres, Tórtolas and Flores. The independently sourced map retains the corresponding community passenger alignments, with their original OSM labels. An alignment is not proof of engineering condition, public entitlement or current operation.

The school describes School Camp around Golondrina, Ositos, Manzanito and Paloma, and explicitly reserves the Golondrina conveyor for its own ski and snowboard school. General mountain access and school-area products are distinct. Ask the school for your actual meeting base, permitted installations and a suitable route for your ability.

Historical: the schedule is headed winter 2026, gives a partial opening on 27 June and no defined ending, and carries an update label of 23 June 2026. Its published lift hours are 09:00–17:00, with Tórtolas and Fabres closing at 16:45. These retained hours do not establish today’s service or the next winter timetable.

Unconfirmed: current public skiing, exact 2027 ski-season dates, open lift and sector connections, inter-resort passage, skier-download permission and final return times have not been established. Undated open/closed rows and a pass sale do not resolve that uncertainty. Confirm a suitable open descent to your actual base before ascending; never use a closed piste or an unverified neighbouring-resort connection as the return.

Plan the Farellones road and the final village transfer separately

The operator gives Emile Allais 91, La Parva, Lo Barnechea as its address. Its arrival directions approach via the Farellones mountain road and turn towards La Parva at the Farellones junction. The map pin is the community-mapped lower Parva Chica lift reference, not a surveyed entrance, allocated parking space or verified step-free route.

Conflicting sources: the retained schedule describes one-way winter traffic through 20 September 2026, while the arrival page mixes a 27 April 2025 update label with wording about two-way traffic from 20 September 2026 and a separate 15:00–20:00 descent line. The national tourism authority’s 24 July 2026 notice describes uphill 08:00–13:00 and downhill 15:00–20:00 through the winter season. None is accepted as a current road instruction.

Historical: the operator’s arrival copy says chains are checked at La Ermita during the ski season. Its conditions page directs readers to Carabineros information at 139 and the municipality for fresh road information. Confirm the actual day’s restrictions, suitable chains and winter equipment with the responsible authority before setting out; a retained road-open label is insufficient.

Unconfirmed: a current or final 2027 public shuttle timetable, bookable last return, road status, parking entrance/fees/capacity and an uninterrupted accessible parking-to-lift transfer have not been verified. The retained Ski Van contact is a planning lead only; arrange and confirm both directions and your final village meeting point directly.

Distinguish retained day fares, 2027 pass descriptions and binding terms

Historical: the winter-2026 day-ticket page lists Flex at CLP 83,000 for ages 25–74 and CLP 66,400 for ages 13–24, with a separate CLP 6,000 Parvapass card. Fix is date-specific with variable availability and price; Flex is described for a day during the stated season. These are retained 2026 examples, not current 2027 day fares. Lessons, rentals and neighbouring-resort access are not automatically included.

The pass page describes 2027 My Weekday access for selected weekdays, Core as 12 La Parva days plus six Valle Nevado days, Select as 18 plus 12, and Americas as unlimited Chile access at those two resorts. Its headline starts at CLP 99,000/175,000/225,000/275,000 respectively, with the latter three starting prices tied to particular age categories, not every adult. Core and Select list blackouts on 3–4, 10–11 and 16–18 July, 7–8 August and 14 August 2027; My Weekday lists 16 July. Verify the chosen category and actual checkout before purchase.

Conflicting sources: the 2026 ticket page includes ages 0–12 in its free child day product, while the linked 2026 terms say under 12; senior wording uses over 75 alongside pass tables starting at 75. The 2027 pass page advertises a CLP 15,000 Kids/Super Senior issue charge, while the retained day-ticket terms give a CLP 25,000 season-card charge. Confirm the precise age boundary and the charge applicable to the actual product and season.

Conflicting sources: links labelled as a 2027 pass contract lead to a document titled 2027 Americas Pass Product Plan, containing proposed and explicitly unconfirmed elements. It is not treated here as a final consumer contract. The file named 2026 day-ticket terms also retains a Fix clause referring to winter 2025. The general terms HTML is a placeholder. Do not substitute these mixed editions for the contract accepted at checkout.

The inspected day-ticket terms state personal use, a reusable card held separately from phones/other cards, no guaranteed minimum season length and restrictions on refunds, unused Fix tickets, weather, road delays and safety interruptions. Those are the operator’s retained stated conditions, not an independent legal ruling. School Camp entitlements are limited, and a pass valid at two resorts does not establish a physically open connection.

Unconfirmed: final applicable 2027 day-ticket prices, binding pass/refund/interruption terms, insurance, exact age-boundary treatment, card charges and any inter-resort ticket/connection arrangements remain to be verified for the chosen purchase. Preserve the season, product, date and named-holder distinctions.

Stay on open terrain within your ability and follow patrol instructions

The published winter rules prohibit entering closed pistes and permit safety closures. They distinguish marked pistes from unprepared, uncontrolled off-piste ground, including unprepared margins between pistes. Stay within terrain actually opened by staff and within your ability; the independent geometry is not permission for uphill travel, off-piste skiing, avalanche terrain or access after closing.

The rules direct skiers to control speed and trajectory, give priority to the downhill skier, avoid stopping in blind places, use equipment that prevents runaway skis or boards, respect signs and follow patrol instructions. They prohibit intoxicated use and carrying a child without skis in arms or a backpack while skiing. Report accidents and identify the location to staff.

The inspected winter rules require helmets for children under 12 and advise wearing one generally. They require a child shorter than 1.25 m to ride an aerial chairlift with an adult. Obey the actual installation’s height/age signs, boarding guidance and safety-bar instructions; do not board a lift that serves terrain beyond your ability. Ask staff for assistance and remain seated if a lift stops.

The operator describes a winter Clínica Alemana medical centre offering initial outpatient care, and explicitly says it is not an emergency department. Its retained service description gives 09:00–18:00 during winter and a RescateAlemana number of +56 2 2910 9911. Ground or air evacuation is conditional on the case and operating conditions; no guaranteed rescue time or inclusive insurance is inferred.

Unconfirmed: current patrol/medical operating hours, exact 2027 rescue arrangements, coverage, charges, accessible assistance and any permitted uphill route are not established. Confirm the current emergency contact and your insurance before travel. Wind, visibility, snow, altitude, machinery and avalanche-control closures require conservative decisions; never cross a closure for a mapped shortcut.

Arrange lessons, equipment and assistance for the actual date

The operator lists a ski and snowboard school, equipment rental and workshop, restaurants and village accommodation. The 2026 school page separates private lessons, group lessons, Mini Escuela for ages 6–12 and Baby Escuela for ages 3–5. It says equipment is excluded and identifies the school-only Golondrina conveyor. Confirm your discipline, ability group, actual meeting point, included pass and equipment-return time.

Conflicting sources: the 2026 Baby Escuela table describes capacity for eight children, while the school FAQ says children under five require individual private lessons. The homepage gives customer service until 17:30, while the dedicated winter schedule gives 17:00. Resolve the appropriate class format and contact hours directly rather than treating either as a guaranteed current service.

Historical: the rental page’s 2026 full adult ski/boot/pole example is CLP 50,000 and helmet rental is listed separately at CLP 13,000. These are edition-specific examples, not next-season offers. Restaurant descriptions place venues around Parva Chica and the Golondrina school sector; named opening hours do not establish actual service on your date.

The operator publishes servicioalcliente@laparva.cl and WhatsApp +56 9 3921 4656 for visitor enquiries, escuela@laparva.cl for lessons and pases@laparva.cl for season-pass questions. These are public planning contacts; no private reply or operator endorsement is claimed.

Unconfirmed: current or final 2027 lesson/rental/restaurant hours, prices, availability, individual Baby Escuela format, adaptive instruction, accessible toilets and step-free transfers have not been verified. Discuss required assistance, fitting and the whole return journey in advance, including what happens if uplift or the road closes.
