Explore mapped pistes and lifts, compare the official plans and choose the right starting base. Check current opening separately.
Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.

HOW THE AREA CONNECTS
Access: Signal aerial cableway or the Dorf–Chantarella–Corviglia funiculars.
Mapped alpine pistes, mountain services and separate locally graded descents.
Access: Celerina–Marguns gondola and mountain chairlifts.
Pistes and the separately classified yellow Zöllner ski route.
Access: Separate Piz Nair aerial cableway and upper-mountain lifts.
High alpine terrain with its own operating dates and weather restrictions.
Choose Signalbahn from St. Moritz Bad, the Dorf–Chantarella–Corviglia funiculars, or the Celerina–Marguns approach for your planned sector. The pin is a planning reference.
Signal / Salastrains, Marguns / Trais Fluors and Piz Nair / Fuorcla Grischa are distinct sectors. Yellow ungroomed ski routes are separate from the locally graded pistes.
Check the return to your actual valley installation and its final descent. Upper-mountain schedules and weather restrictions differ; this guide establishes no recreational uphill route.
01 / FIELD OVERVIEW
The operator advertises 35 runs and 155 km; its current winter report uses a different 34-row scope. This guide documents four selected named rows, the 2026/27 timetable and practical access limits without treating a schedule as live opening.

Rail, parking, ticket and safety guidance
Corviglia is the alpine ski area above St. Moritz and Celerina in the Upper Engadin. The official October 2026 winter map connects Signal, Corviglia, Marguns and Piz Nair, whose summit station is labelled 3,057 m. Muottas Muragl has its own winter walking and sledding area; its funicular status does not establish that Corviglia is open for skiing.
The operator advertises 35 runs and 155 km, with 24 lifts. The actual Winter status tabs inspected on 28 October list 34 slope rows and 23 lifts, all closed. These different inventories are not silently reconciled here. This guide transcribes four selected named rows from the official map: blue Standard, red Corviglia Run, black Lanigiro and yellow Zöllner. Blue means easy, red medium and black difficult locally. Yellow Zöllner is an ungroomed ski route for experienced users, not a groomed piste or unrestricted off-piste terrain.
St. Moritz Dorf reaches Chantarella and Corviglia by two funicular sections. St. Moritz Bad has the Signal aerial cableway, while Celerina reaches Marguns by gondola. Corviglia–Piz Nair is a separate aerial cableway. Chairlifts and surface lifts serve the mountain sectors; the map notes a separate ticket for the Suvretta lift. A lift symbol is not a guarantee of current operation.
The current facility list schedules the main Dorf, Signal and Celerina links from 28 November 2026 to 4 April 2027. Dorf lists first ascent 07:40, last ascent 16:55 and last descent 17:10; Chantarella–Corviglia lists 07:45, 16:15 and 17:00 respectively. Piz Nair starts later, on 19 December, with 08:45 first ascent, 15:45 last ascent and 16:30 last descent. Conflicting sources: the inspected winter map limited the quoted Dorf and Chantarella time rows to 27 March, while the current facility list applies them through 4 April 2027. Check the actual dated service before travelling; these are separate installation schedules, not a guaranteed complete ski return.
The operator announces a 27 November 2026 pre-opening exclusively for annual/season-pass holders, with an event window of 07:45–16:30, one day before the announced general season start. Conflicting sources: the same event page still introduces its proposed lift list as Friday, 28 November 2025. Unconfirmed: that list does not establish the exact installations, individual timetable, full terrain or complete return for the 2026 pre-opening. It is not general public access or an all-area promise; Muottas Muragl has a separate timetable.
The operator recommends rail travel via Chur and the Rhaetian Railway, or via Landquart, Klosters and the Vereina Tunnel. Check current connections and the final bus or walk to your chosen base. Its office is beside the Signalbahn valley station at Via San Gian 30, 7500 St. Moritz; the local stop is St. Moritz Bad, Signalbahn. The planning pin follows the operator-linked stop location and is not a surveyed lift entrance or an accessible-route guarantee.
The official parking page covers Signal in St. Moritz and Pradè in Celerina. At this check both list a free first hour and CHF 1.50 per 30 minutes during hours two and three. Later and authorised night rates differ; the page also states a general parking prohibition from midnight to 07:00. Check the signs and complete tariff before parking, and do not assume overnight camper access.
Accessibility varies by installation. The operator links separate Ginto guides for the Celerina gondola, the funiculars, Piz Nair and Signal. Request transport assistance as early as possible and at least two hours before arrival through +41 81 830 00 00 or info@mountains.ch. Individual adaptive lessons, equipment and a complete accessible journey have not been verified here.
The official Snow Deal shop distinguishes Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb, Zuoz and the whole Upper Engadin. The inspected Corviglia-only option offers a single selected day; the shop says multi-day passes are available only for the whole region and run on consecutive days. Choose the area, visit date, age category and number of people carefully. The whole-region product explicitly includes public transport; do not transfer that benefit automatically to a Corviglia-only ticket. Pedestrian journeys and the small Provulèr area are separate products.
With Corviglia selected and one adult aged 18+ shown, the calendar inspected on 28 October displays CHF 58 for 28 November 2026. This is a dynamic dated planning quote, not a guaranteed opening or a final checkout total. Youth ages are 13–17 and children 6–12. The separate Sleep + Ski offer advertises CHF 55 per day only with participating accommodation and for the entire stay. Confirm the live total, card and insurance costs, and actual cancellation terms before paying. Passes are personal and valid during published operating hours. No purchase was made for this guide.
The operator’s current slope-marking leaflet says that patrol controls open, marked runs. Leaving those markings leads into terrain that is not groomed, controlled or secured and may include wildlife-protection areas. Respect closures, barriers, protected zones and staff instructions. A yellow ski route has its own ungroomed classification; this guide does not establish a permitted recreational uphill route. Ask the operator about any proposed ascent rather than infer permission from a ski pass or map.
Pistes are closed outside lift operating hours. The leaflet warns of lethal risks from avalanche blasting and piste machines with winch cables. Do not use closed pistes for an evening ascent or descent. Rescue is chargeable and is not included in the ski pass. SOS Corviglia is +41 81 836 50 40, SOS Marguns +41 81 839 80 40, the general medical emergency number 144 and REGA 1414. Check the current SLF/White Risk assessment for mountain travel; a missing autumn bulletin is not evidence of low avalanche danger.
The winter map identifies restaurants, ski-school and ski-rental/service points at mountain and valley locations. The operator’s restaurant directory includes White Marmot at Corviglia, Marguns venues and Piz Nair Restaurant. Their opening days and access depend on individual schedules and lift operation. Verify a specific venue before relying on it for a meal, a shelter stop or a late return.
For current lift access, tickets and individual transport assistance, contact Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG, Via San Gian 30, 7500 St. Moritz, +41 81 830 00 00, info@mountains.ch. Rental stock, lesson languages, childcare, adaptive equipment and booking availability are not confirmed here. Arrange them with the actual provider. The photograph shows Corviglia on 11 January 2014; it documents the place, not today’s snow, access or facilities.
Selected source-checked references only. Use the complete official plan for the network; this list is not the resort’s total piste count or live opening report.
