01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
Plan the Saturday main race with dated entry fees, eligibility, bib collection, checkpoint deadlines, published shuttle departures and bag/service arrangements. All times are local: Europe/Rome, CET, UTC+01:00. The wider race weekend is 9–10 January; this profile covers Saturday’s 60 km classic scope. Historical: Val Fiscalina on 7 January 2020, photographed by Punteador under CC BY-SA 4.0. This archive valley landscape is not a race photograph, the verified 2027 start or evidence of current snow. Original pixels preserved; responsive display crops.
The current course text describes Val Fiscalina–San Candido–Dobbiaco/Nordic Arena, with the 60 km branch continuing past the Three Peaks viewpoint and Lake Landro into Val Fonda, turning before Cimabanche, then finishing in Villabassa. The 30 km option branches before Lake Dobbiaco. These are attributed planning references only. Unconfirmed: the linked GPX/PDF editions and final 2027 geometry have not been accepted; the future brochure is unavailable. No route artwork, downloadable track or navigable race map is reproduced here. Follow the final marked course and officials.
The current rules give 11:00 at the San Candido main-road crossing, 12:00 at the Dobbiaco 30/60 km split for 60 km racers, 14:30 at the second Nordic Arena passage towards Villabassa and 16:00 at the Villabassa finish. A timed-out participant must stop and is removed from the results. Sunday’s Lake Dobbiaco, climb and Prato Piazza cutoffs belong to the separate free-technique race.
Ordinary entrants select the group matching their ability; elite allocation is reserved to the organiser under its stated team, points or selection criteria. Sunday’s 30 km free-technique challenge starts in Villabassa at 09:30 and finishes at Prato Piazza; it is not the return leg of Saturday’s race. Unconfirmed: final group assignments, accepted elite field and any subsequent course or programme changes remain to be checked.
The current rules require main 60 km entrants to turn at least 18 in 2027. The 30 km classic option admits those turning 16, with parental authorisation for minors; the 2010/2011 youth discount does not admit them to 60 km. Italian citizens need one of the specified current cross-country/Nordic medical certificates; the FISI card does not replace it. Upload it to Datasport or send it by Thursday 7 January 2027. Verify your exact category and accepted documents before entering.
02 / PUBLISHED PROGRAMME
The published timetable.
Thursday, January 7, 2027
Medical-document deadline for Italian citizens
The registration page gives 7 January 2027; the rules say the Thursday before the weekend. Upload the required valid certificate to Datasport or send it to the organiser. This is not a general entry-closing time.Friday, January 8, 2027
Friday bib collection in Villabassa
The organiser lists the school gym in Villabassa. Standard waxing is available at collection and professional service through Kraler Sport in Dobbiaco; both are extra, not included in the entry fee.Saturday, January 9, 2027
Published classic-race shuttle to Val Fiscalina
The programme lists Villabassa main square 07:15, Camping Olympia 07:17, Dobbiaco tourist office 07:25, San Candido/Haunold 07:35, Sesto main square/town hall 07:45 and Moso church 07:50, arriving at the start at 07:55. Recheck the final stop and departure instructions before travelling.Saturday, January 9, 2027
Race-morning bib collection at the start
Conflicting sources: the same dated programme lists bib collection in Sesto/Val Fiscalina until 09:15 but the race start at 09:00; Datasport also gives 09:00. Do not treat the later collection time as permission for a late start. Collect on Friday where possible and obtain the final race-morning deadline.Saturday, January 9, 2027
Saturday 60/30 km classic start
The main 60 km scope and selectable 30 km classic option share this published start. The age and youth-discount limits remain distinct; choosing a shorter distance does not change eligibility for the longer race.Saturday, January 9, 2027
After-race services and category awards
The programme lists pasta/after-race gathering from 11:30, with changing rooms and showers, and category awards at 14:00. The top-three flower ceremony follows the finish. These ceremony times are not checkpoint or finish deadlines.Saturday, January 9, 2027
Published return-transport window
The organiser describes a continuous post-race return service in this window. Unconfirmed: exact return-stop order, last pickup from each stop, capacity and accessible boarding are not published in the inspected programme; arrange your specific return rather than assuming a connection.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST
Attend with the live instructions.
The official 2027 registration page and Datasport race-selection landing page are accessible. Unconfirmed: remaining capacity, individual document acceptance and the final checkout total have not been verified.
Choose Saturday’s classic 30/60 km race for this main-race scope. The Sunday challenge, two-day combination and 30 km Just4Fun product are separate choices. Rules allow online Datasport entry and cash registration at the race office during the weekend; race entry by email or telephone is not accepted. Published inclusions cover timing, medical support, bib/race pack, shuttles, organiser-bag transport, refreshments, after-race pasta and a medal for a finish within the time limit.. Checked 30 October 2026: the organiser lists EUR 79 for one race / EUR 129 for both during 1 October–30 November 2026; EUR 85/139 during December; EUR 89/149 on 1–7 January 2027; EUR 100/160 on 8–10 January. The cheaper September tier has expired. Datasport’s Saturday “starting at EUR 39.50” is a minimum-category figure, consistent with the separate 50% youth discount for the 30 km race; it is not the adult 60 km fee. Unconfirmed: transaction extras and your final payable amount require the actual entry selection. No unconditional ticket offer is asserted.

Official broadcast hub04 / SPECTATOR ACCESS
The pin is not the gate.
The point is the openly recorded viewpoint of the archive photograph in Val Fiscalina. It locates the valley approximately, not the verified race start, parking, bib desk or accessible drop-off. The organiser places Saturday’s start in Sesto/Val Fiscalina and the finish in Villabassa; use its linked start and shuttle-stop references and final participant instructions for the actual approach.
The published Saturday shuttle is part of the participant arrangements; follow the programme’s linked stop references and final instructions. Unconfirmed: spectator eligibility for that shuttle, public rail/bus connections, traffic restrictions, parking capacity and an assisted transfer chain are not established by the race timetable. The valley reference point does not grant access or identify a parking space.
Ask for an organiser clothing bag at bib collection: it is not automatically supplied. Label it with the tag and race number, close it securely and load it onto the designated vehicle for transport from start to finish. Only the organiser’s bags are accepted, not ordinary backpacks or suitcases; valuables remain at the participant’s risk. Warm indoor changing is advertised on both days and showers on Saturday. Return the timing chip; the rules charge EUR 60 if it is not returned.
The programme advertises paid standard/professional waxing and the site links partner hotels. Unconfirmed: dated shop hours, rental stock, accommodation availability, toilets, final viewing areas and individual assistance are not established by these general listings. Contact the relevant provider before relying on a service.
Sunday has no shuttle to its start and a separately described volunteer-fire-brigade return from Prato Piazza. The organiser asks supporters not to drive up because parking is very limited. These Sunday arrangements do not replace Saturday’s published return service. Unconfirmed: adaptive-racing eligibility, step-free facilities and suitable transport for an individual participant require direct arrangements; a general medical-support inclusion does not establish accessibility.
