Summit West, Summit Central and Summit East form the connected Summit alpine areas at Snoqualmie Pass in Washington’s Cascades. West emphasises learning and night skiing, Central combines varied terrain with Silver Fir access, and East has its own alpine base. Alpental and the Nordic network are separate scopes.
140MAPS / UNDERSTAND THE AREA
Explore mapped pistes and lifts, compare the official plans and choose the right starting base. Check current opening separately.
Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.
Independent OSM orientation across the West, Central, Silver Fir and East alpine sectors. Named, reviewed downhill ways and passenger alignments are distinct from the operator’s run/lift inventory. Unnamed or unmatched ways, Nordic-network objects, glades/backcountry and uncertain technical objects are omitted; Alpental is outside this scope. Generic difficulty remains grey. Unconfirmed: the official West, Central and East map links are verified, but the artwork’s current edition, full footprint and remote-display rights have not been established. No operator artwork is copied or embedded. Canonical API snapshot time is its HTTP response Date, not an Overpass replication timestamp. No current-access, grooming, navigation, rescue or complete-return guarantee is made.
HOW THE AREA CONNECTS
Access: Use the West base by I-90 exit 52 and confirm the day’s actual lift and lesson location.
Operator-described learning terrain and night-skiing emphasis; no current opening is inferred.
Access: Separate Central and Silver Fir entrances along State Route 906; verify each required lift and crossover.
Varied terrain and lesson products, with separately scheduled connections.
Access: Use the Hyak Drive base from I-90 exit 54. Nordic services share the locality but are excluded from this alpine profile.
Distinct alpine terrain, lift schedule and return; crossovers are conditional.
West, Central, Silver Fir and East have different road entrances, services and lift calendars. The pin refers to West; follow the operator’s directions for your actual destination.
The operator describes crossover links between West, Central and East, rated from blue square to black diamond. Check the actual open direction, ability requirement and every connecting lift before leaving your base. Alpental is separate.
Unconfirmed: the complete final descent, last boarding and 2026/27 inter-base shuttle are not verified. Confirm each required sector and transfer with staff; the historical shuttle description is not a return guarantee.
01 / FIELD OVERVIEW
Plan the three Summit alpine areas with an independent map, sourced arrival and return advice, current booking limits and a credited historical photograph. Check the actual sector schedule before travelling.
Three alpine sectors distinguished from Alpental and Nordic
Separate base, crossover, parking and final-return planning
Independent map and licensed February 2025 Summit Central photograph
The operator distinguishes the three Summit areas from Alpental. West is promoted for learning and night skiing; Central combines beginner, park and steeper choices; East has separate alpine terrain. The shared resort’s nearly 2,000 acres and 25-lift promotion includes other scopes and is not used as an inventory for this guide. Nordic, tubing, summer bike trails, Alpental and backcountry terrain are excluded.
The live report groups named trails by West, Central and East, with separate passenger lifts and carpets. These are operator report rows rather than an independently certified current whole-area inventory. A community way segment is not one official run; this guide does not turn map features into a trail count.
The operator describes Summit-90 crossover routes between the three areas and rates them from blue square to black diamond. They may close independently, and a connection suitable for an experienced skier may be unsuitable for a learner. Use the actual signs, ability guidance and current report; no universal grade conversion is made.
Unconfirmed: the operator’s hours page leaves the 2026/27 winter opening day to be determined. Exact first and final ski days, daily sector hours, last boarding and a complete final return are not established; advance tickets and snowfall do not confirm skiing.
Historical: Buidhe’s 18 February 2025 photograph shows snowy Summit Central terrain, trees and distant skiers. It is an archive view, not evidence of current snow, opening or facilities. The original 4624 × 3472 JPEG is unchanged; responsive display crops retain CC BY-SA 4.0 attribution.
The operator’s Summit report lists West chairs such as Pacific Crest, Dodge Ridge, Julie’s, Little Thunder and Wildside; Central includes Central Express, Triple 60, Gallery, Holiday, Easy Street, Reggie’s and Silver Fir; East lists East Peak, Hidden Valley and Rampart. Learning carpets have separate access. This is sourced orientation, not a promise that any installation is running.
The hours page provides distinct selectors for West, Central, Silver Fir and East. Its dated shoulder-season notice leaves winter opening to be determined; the inspected November calendars contain closed or TBD entries. Product labels such as open-to-close, swing and night do not establish the installation timetable.
Historical: the mountain report retains a 29 October 2026 first-snowfall message alongside zero open lift/trail counters. A snowfall post, automatically changing weather or an old report does not establish current skiing.
Unconfirmed: individual last skier boarding, downhill carriage entitlement, evening crossover service and a continuous final return to your parked vehicle have not been verified. Agree the complete sequence with staff before leaving your chosen base.
The operator locates the resort at Snoqualmie Pass on I-90, with its general physical address at 1001 State Route 906. West is reached from exit 52 when travelling east from Seattle; Central and Silver Fir use separate State Route 906 entrances reached from exits 53 or 54 according to travel direction. East uses exit 54 and Hyak Drive. Follow the detailed operator directions and current WSDOT road restrictions rather than treating this pin as every entrance.
The winter 2026/27 parking guide lists designated paid dates and five-hour or all-day products. Eligible Summit lift/Nordic passholders require correct vehicle registration; an Ikon pass or day ticket does not automatically include parking. Carpools of four or more may qualify in designated lots before they fill or the stated 10:00 cutoff. Parking availability is not guaranteed.
Conflicting sources: the 2026/27 parking guide lists five-hour USD 15 and all-day USD 25 products, while the 2025/26 uphill page retains different area-based fees. Use the current parking product and posted rules; the parking guide’s holiday date labels and paid hours need direct confirmation.
Historical: the shuttle page’s 12 April 2026 notice says service has ended for the season. Its Friday–Sunday/holiday 07:00–19:00 description and two routes are retained context, not a verified 2026/27 timetable or a guaranteed final return.
Unconfirmed: a current complete public transport timetable to the pass, the final inter-base shuttle, exact paid-parking hours and a continuous assisted transfer from every parking space to every lift are not established. Confirm accessibility and your independent return plan with guest services.
The 2026/27 ticket page describes date-specific lift tickets with open-to-close, swing and night sessions, and separate restricted beginner tickets. The general ticket can cover open lifts across up to four mountain areas, while beginner carpet/chair products have narrower access. Verify the exact included installations and the actual open sector; Alpental access in a product does not expand this guide’s map.
Prices vary with date and availability, and peak dates can sell out. Tickets are non-transferable, unauthorized third-party resale is rejected, and the assigned guest needs the liability release; a parent or guardian signs for visitors under 18. The page describes non-refundable date-specific products with a conditional Easy Change credit process. Inspect your exact checkout terms before paying.
Rentals do not include lift access. Lesson inclusions and equipment add-ons depend on the actual product. Parking is separately charged where applicable, and passholder parking requires registration.
Unconfirmed: the final payable lift price, taxes, current age-band entitlement, beginner-lift list, insurance, exclusions and change-credit conditions for your selected product have not been verified at checkout. This guide makes no reservation, availability or refund promise.
Follow the operator’s responsibility guidance: control speed, give downhill users room, stop where visible, check uphill when merging, retain equipment and obey every closure and warning. Ask an attendant before using a lift you cannot safely board or unload. The operator states that entering closed terrain can lead to immediate pass or ticket suspension.
The mountain-safety resource warns about deep snow and tree wells and advises staying with a companion and on groomed terrain. Terrain parks have their own safety guidance. This alpine map excludes backcountry/gladed, Nordic, uncertain and technical features and is not a route-finding, avalanche or rescue guarantee.
Historical: the uphill page retains 2025/26 blackout dates, a 30 April 2026 end-of-operations notice and older parking prices. These do not authorize a new-season ascent; confirm the current pass, designated route, snowmaking, grooming and closures directly.
The uphill page separately warns about snowmaking, machinery and lethal winch cables; it lists an East winch-grooming closure from 19:00 to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Treat that as a warning requiring the current daily policy, not permission at any other time. A normal downhill ticket or an OSM line is not an uphill permit.
The actual contact-page patrol tab publishes 425.434.6794 for emergencies only. In an immediate emergency use the local emergency services and give your exact location. Unconfirmed: current patrol coverage, response times, evacuation, individual adaptive access and a suitable complete return are not established; agree your needs directly before committing.
The rental page offers ski/boot/pole and snowboard/boot packages, with helmets charged separately. Reservations are base-specific, and equipment must be returned to the selected area. Shops are described as opening one hour before lifts and closing 30 minutes after them, but the actual area’s schedule governs. An adult must attend a minor’s pickup for the binding acknowledgment.
The school advertises daily and multiweek seasonal ski/snowboard programmes. Choose the actual ability, age, base and meeting point. School enquiries use 425.434.6700; general guest services use 425.434.7669. A lesson or rental listing does not establish present skiing.
Conflicting sources: the general lesson page advertises 2026/27 daily lessons on sale, while the Kids Club page still says 2025/26 daily lessons have ended and 2026/27 bookings will follow. Its age, price and meeting-time table is not accepted as a confirmed new-season offer.
Conflicting sources: the general rental page says shops close 30 minutes after lifts, while the retained Kids Club instructions require rental return before the mountain area closes. Confirm the deadline for the exact rental/lesson combination and plan the earlier return until resolved.
Unconfirmed: current lesson availability and prices, childcare, individual adaptive arrangements, restaurant schedules and exact equipment-return deadlines are not established. Contact the relevant service and leave time to return to your own base.
Selected source-checked references only. Use the complete official plan for the network; this list is not the resort’s total piste count or live opening report.
