Lifts

Independent ODbL community geometry covers named managed alpine pistes and reviewed passenger alignments around Temù, Ponte di Legno, Passo Tonale and Presena. It omits the Enel technical cableway, proposed and unidentified lifts, unnamed or unmatched ways, touring, freeride and backcountry terrain. The older community Corno d’Aola chairlift and Angelo surface lift are omitted because the current operator lists a Corno d’Aola-Angelo cable car whose replacement geometry is not established. This map is incomplete around that uplift and is not an operator inventory: OSM way segments and split lift alignments are not numbers of pistes or physical lifts. Generic community difficulty remains grey unless an explicit local colour is recorded. The earliest original canonical OSM API tile HTTP response Date is the snapshot basis, not an Overpass replication timestamp. Unconfirmed: the official winter-map landing is verified, but its artwork edition and preview or reproduction rights are not established; no operator artwork is copied or embedded. Geometry proves no current skiing, grooming, patrol, access permission, safe navigation or complete return.

HOW THE AREA CONNECTS

Understand the sectors.

01

Temù and Ponte di Legno

Access: Temù starts at Roccolo Ventura. Ponte di Legno offers the Valbione approach and the gondola towards Colonia Vigili and Tonale. Confirm the correct starting point for your lesson and return.

The operator describes wooded alpine terrain, with local grades and connecting lifts. The current Corno d’Aola-Angelo cable car is not represented by the older community lift geometry.

02

Passo Tonale

Access: Choose the lift base for your intended signed run or booked school. The Ponte di Legno gondola has an intermediate Colonia Vigili station before Tonale.

Open mountain slopes and learner areas are distinct from the valley forests. Crossing towards another sector requires the actual available pistes, grade and final connecting lifts.

03

Paradiso and Presena

Access: The operator lists Paradiso from Tonale to 2,585 m and Presena towards 3,000 m. Confirm skier carriage, the open managed descent and the whole journey back before boarding.

High alpine and glacier terrain has a separate weather and exposure context. Off-piste and touring itineraries are outside this guide and independent map.

01

Start: choose the correct village and lift base

Temù uses Roccolo Ventura; Ponte di Legno has the Valbione/gondola approach; Tonale has several separate lift and school bases. The pin marks only an approximate Ponte di Legno base. Confirm the booked meeting point and any assistance before travelling.

02

Connect: Colonia Vigili, Tonale and Presena

The operator lists the Ponte di Legno–Tonale gondola in two sections via Colonia Vigili, then Paradiso and Presena access from Tonale. Check each actual open lift, the local piste grade and the correct pass; a network diagram is not a guarantee of an open circuit.

03

Return: work backwards from your own base

Unconfirmed: current final ascent/download, a complete valley descent and the last cross-sector or onward bus are not established. Historical 2025/26 bus/night schedules do not settle the next winter. Ask staff for every required return connection before boarding.

01 / FIELD OVERVIEW

Know the hill before the first lap.

Choose the right base and plan every connecting lift and the full return. This guide separates advertised terrain, ticket terms and historical information from actual skiing availability.

Four distinct alpine areas and one local pass

Forest, open-pass and glacier terrain

Independent licensed map with explicit coverage limits

Choose among four different alpine settings

The operator describes one managed alpine area across Temù, Ponte di Legno, Passo Tonale and Presena, advertising 46 runs and 29 lifts between 1,121 and 3,000 metres. It lists 13 blue, 25 red and eight black runs. These are attributed operator inventory figures, separate from community map segments, current open pistes and an individual skier’s ability.

Temù and Ponte di Legno offer forested slopes; Tonale has open mountain terrain and learner areas; Paradiso and Presena reach the high alpine glacier setting. Choose from the actual signed local grades and current report. The operator lists the Paradiso descent as black; an ability-appropriate connection or download must be established before going up.

The independent map covers reviewed named managed terrain, with uncertain generic grades left grey. Unconfirmed: a complete current comparison with operator artwork and the replacement Corno d’Aola-Angelo uplift geometry are not established. Older community uplift, technical, proposed, unnamed and unmatched features are omitted. Freeride and touring routes are outside this managed-alpine guide.

Check the whole connection and the final ride

The operator lists four Temù lifts, seven Ponte di Legno lifts, sixteen at Tonale and two for Paradiso/Presena. The Ponte di Legno–Tonale gondola is listed in two sections via Colonia Vigili. The lift table identifies Paradiso from 1,875 to 2,585 metres and Presena from 2,585 to 3,000 metres. Its minute values describe ride duration, not last boarding.

Unconfirmed: exact 2026/27 first and final skiing dates, daily skier hours, final ascent/download and the complete cross-sector return are not established. At the overnight check, the page showed zero open lifts and runs; this alone does not distinguish normal night closure from an unstarted or interrupted season. Pass sales are not skiing confirmation. Check the actual dated report and staff advice before travelling or crossing sectors.

Historical: the night-skiing page retains Valena and Valbione schedules for December 2025–April 2026, while the skibus downloads retain Winter 2025/26 and April 2026 labels. Neither supplies the 2026/27 last connection. Work backwards from your own village, every required lift and onward bus; do not assume a valley descent, pedestrian carriage or late recovery service.

Choose the base and arrange the full journey

From Lombardy, the operator describes the A4/SS510/SS42 approach through Val Camonica and rail on the Brescia–Iseo–Edolo line followed by bus. From Trentino it describes the A22, SS43 and SS42 through Val di Non and Val di Sole, or rail through Trento and Malè followed by bus. Check the current transport operator and winter road conditions for the actual journey.

The operator’s winter skibus description links Edolo, Temù and Ponte di Legno, with a shuttle between the gondola intermediate station and Tonale. It also describes services from the Val di Sole side. Free skibus travel is listed for valid seasonal or two- to fourteen-consecutive-day pass holders when the service runs. Historical: the available timetable download labels are Winter 2025/26 and April 2026; a current 2026/27 schedule, final bus, equipment carriage and complete return remain unconfirmed.

The approximate pin marks the Ponte di Legno gondola base; it does not represent all four starting points. The accessibility page describes Neveplast transfer surfaces at gondola access points and in one cabin in ten, plus two transfer Chair Stations and adaptive lessons. Unconfirmed: current assistance availability, equipment suitability, step-free parking/toilets and the complete boarding/download/onward journey are not established. Arrange these directly before travel.

Check the exact product and its exclusions

The 2026/27 price page offers hourly, day, multi-day and season products, with a calculator requiring the selected date, duration and travellers. The operator advertises limited dynamic Smart Skipass discounts of up to 25% for advance online purchases. This is an advertised maximum, not a guaranteed discount or final fare for your trip. Confirm the exact date, category, pass area and final total before paying.

The page distinguishes the local pass from Combi, Aprica and wider-network options; a shared ticket is not a physical continuous ski connection or a transfer service. Child categories, accompanying-adult conditions and document requirements matter. The terms make passes personal and subject to the actual lift programme; weather, maintenance, training or events may close facilities without guaranteeing every lift or piste.

The operator requires third-party liability insurance and offers additional insurance separately; check the applicable policy and exclusions rather than assuming a pass supplies every cover or closure refund. The 23 October 2026 notice gives Ponte di Legno weekend season-pass office hours of 09:00–12:30 and 14:00–17:30 from 31 October–1 November. Those sales hours are distinct from skier operation. Unconfirmed: your final selected fare and 2026/27 night-ski entitlement are not established here.

Stay on open managed pistes and respect closures

The operator’s current terms require following signs, lift staff and displayed transport instructions, assessing the signed local difficulty against your ability, and keeping off pistes after lift closure or when marked closed. They state that helmets are compulsory for adults and minors and require valid third-party liability cover. Follow the actual rules and closures at your selected base.

High mountain and glacier settings can bring poor visibility, wind and rapid weather changes. This guide does not establish avalanche stability, a safe individual route or off-piste permission. Remain on managed open terrain suited to your ability, follow patrol and staff directions, and keep clear of closed pistes and grooming operations. Touring, freeride and glacier travel away from open managed runs require separate verified arrangements and are omitted here.

Unconfirmed: current patrol deployment, medical opening, response times, individual adaptive support and a safe complete return are not established by the inspected sources. Ask the operator for the local emergency and assistance procedure, report an incident to lift staff/patrol with the exact location, and arrange every final connecting lift and onward journey before setting off. Neither licensed geometry nor a historical snow photograph certifies safety.

Book hire, teaching and assistance at the right base

The operator lists rental businesses in Ponte di Legno, Temù and Tonale, with alpine ski/snowboard hire, binding adjustment, tuning, waxing and equipment storage. Examples include businesses by Roccolo Ventura in Temù, Via Corno d’Aola in Ponte di Legno and Via Case Sparse or Via Nazionale at Tonale. Choose the shop for your actual starting base and book sizes, fitting, collection and return separately.

The school directory describes private and group lessons for adults and children, several disciplines and lessons for people with disabilities. It lists the Pontedilegno-Tonale school at Corso Milano 6 and the gondola departure in Ponte di Legno, and Via Case Sparse 69 at Tonale, with +39 0364 91301. Confirm the actual school, meeting point, language, equipment and suitable open learner terrain; a general listing is not today’s availability.

The consortium lists Via Fratelli Calvi 53 in Ponte di Legno, +39 0364 92097 / 92639 and info@pontedilegnotonale.com. Ticket offices have separate numbers and locations. Unconfirmed: current shop, school and chalet opening, final lesson/hire costs, medical services and the full individual assistance arrangement remain to be confirmed. Tell the operator your date, ability, base and mobility needs before booking.
