Lifts

Unconfirmed: a current edition and lawful display basis for the operator’s piste artwork have not been established; that artwork and its preview are omitted. Independent ODbL community geometry covers supported named Radeševo, Pribeniš, Baby, Turistička and Tešnje terrain and six passenger alignments. The abandoned-tagged Tešnje lift, disused Telekit, private lower tourist segment, anonymous connections, backcountry, sledding and zip lines are omitted, leaving real gaps. Exact operator-name matches retain local red/blue grades; aliases and generic difficulty stay grey. This is not the full operator inventory, current opening, grooming, access permission, a safe return or navigation. The snapshot time is the canonical OSM API HTTP response Date, not an Overpass replication timestamp.

HOW THE AREA CONNECTS

Understand the sectors.

01

Radeševo

Access: Two community-mapped chair alignments; verify the correct boarding point.

Operator-listed red terrain and the longer blue tourist slope; actual connections and return need checks.

02

Pribeniš and Baby

Access: Separate community-mapped drag and conveyor alignments near the lower recreation area.

Confirm lesson meeting points and the signed ability-appropriate terrain.

03

Tešnje

Access: Operator-listed drag conflicts with abandoned-tagged OSM geometry; lift omitted.

Operator-listed blue terrain depends on natural snow; do not assume access or operation.

01

Find the correct Radeševo boarding point

Use the signed D3 approach and main parking, then the information point. OSM places the four-seat lower station northwest of the two-seat base. Confirm your actual chair, lesson or rental meeting point and accessible transfer before walking onto snow.

02

Check connections between terrain areas

Radeševo, Pribeniš/Baby and Tešnje are distinct planning areas. The operator’s lift assignments and abandoned-tagged Tešnje alignment conflict; the private tourist segment and anonymous links are omitted. Use current signs and staff to confirm each suitable open connection rather than joining map gaps.

03

Agree the complete return before ascent

Unconfirmed: individual final boarding, passenger download and the last complete skier return are not established. The published 09:00–16:00 ski window is changeable; 08:00 centre or ticket-office opening does not establish skiing. Confirm your signed descent, equipment return and onward transport before boarding.

Choose Radeševo, Pribeniš or the beginner area

Platak is a managed alpine ski area near Rijeka, operated by Goranski sportski centar. The operator’s Croatian table labels Radeševo 1, Radeševo 2, Zavoj 19, Pribeniš 1 and Traka – Radeševo 1 red, and Baby staza, Turistička staza and Tešnje blue. These are local grades, not international equivalents. Choose terrain to match your ability and the actual signs and closures.

The operator describes snowmaking in the Radeševo, Pribeniš and Baby areas; Tešnje and Turistička depend on natural snow. The licensed community map gives geographic context across those areas, rather than a complete operator inventory or a recommended route. Unconfirmed: exact identities for every community segment, the complete usable tourist return and current grooming are not established; private, anonymous, backcountry and disused objects are omitted.

Historical: AnDr0 Gr0zNy’s genuine 11 April 2026 Platak landscape shows rocky grassland, remnant snow and distant hills and sea. It is regional landscape context, not evidence of current snow, an open piste or a particular safe descent.

Distinguish the two Radeševo chairs and plan the return

The operator’s inventory describes one four-seat and one two-seat chair, two drag installations and three conveyors. Independent OSM geometry shows separate Radeševo chair alignments: the four-seat lower end lies northwest of the two-seat base, with both ascending toward upper Radeševo. Confirm the signed boarding point and intended descent with staff; neither the map nor a panoramic ticket establishes skiing access.

Conflicting sources: the operator’s prose includes both Radeševo chairs, but its slope table assigns all Radeševo runs to a two-seater. The operator lists a Tešnje drag lift, while OSM tags that alignment abandoned. The map omits that lift and disused Telekit; it does not decide which installation is operating. Ask staff which lift, piste and return are available.

The ski-information page publishes 09:00–16:00 for slopes and lifts, with an 08:00 ticket-office start and a changeable schedule. The dated 15 October 2026 notice instead describes recreation-centre hours of 08:00–16:00 and suspends tubing and panoramic rides. Unconfirmed: current skiing, confirmed 2026/27 season boundaries, individual last boarding, passenger download and the last complete skier return are not established. Agree your return before ascending; general centre hours are not a skiing report.

Use the signed D3 approach and confirm the full transfer

The operator directs drivers from Rijeka or the Rijeka–Grobnik motorway exit onto D3 toward Zagreb, then the signed Platak turnoff. It describes a 9 km two-way access road and a paved main car park of about 500 spaces, with additional unpaved parking. Those are operator planning figures, not guaranteed capacity, a road-condition check or a reserved space.

Check HAK road information, weather and the operator before departure. The location point marks the community-mapped lower two-seat Radeševo station; it is separate from a verified entrance or accessible drop-off. The large Platak lodge is described as about 300 m from the parking area, while Sušak has a separate approach and parking.

Unconfirmed: a dated winter public-transport or shuttle timetable, final bus, accessible parking-to-snow transfer, suitable toilets and individual lift assistance are not established. Arrange those details directly before travel; the operator’s website-accessibility statement concerns digital access and does not certify a step-free ski visit.

Keep the older winter tariff separate from your actual purchase

Historical: the checked price-list page still labels its winter tariff 2025/26, alongside a separate summer 2026 heading. No 2026/27 ski price is established here. The ski-information page lists daily and weekly passes through the ticket office, online and Petrol stations; availability, eligible lifts and the actual product must be checked before payment.

Unconfirmed: current ski-ticket prices, age bands, deposit, lesson or rental inclusions, refund terms, insurance and the treatment of weather or partial closure are not established. Ask the operator or actual seller for the current ski-specific conditions. The separate barbecue, tubing and panoramic-ride rules do not establish ski-pass refunds, child limits or skier return rights; no amount or bookable offer is inferred from them.

Respect closures, maintenance and the actual skiing rules

The operator prohibits skiing on closed slopes, walking, sledding and dogs on ski slopes, and private vehicles except emergency access. Slopes close for maintenance and snowmaking from 16:00 to 08:00; this does not make 08:00 an opening time. Follow staff, signs and marked restrictions, use appropriate protective equipment and report hazards. Commercial activities, training and competitions require operator consent; do not treat the public guide as permission.

Users must be able to board and leave lifts and conveyors safely and ask staff for help in good time. Confirm an ability-appropriate signed descent before boarding, and keep away from closed terrain and maintenance equipment. The independent map grants no uphill, night, off-piste or backcountry access.

For mountain emergencies, HGSS gives 112. For operational questions contact the centre on +385 91 181 1808. Unconfirmed: a dedicated current piste-patrol number, rescue/insurance coverage, adaptive assistance and an available evacuation or passenger-download arrangement are not established. Ask staff before entering the terrain; a general information number is not a promised patrol service.

Book equipment and lessons with the actual provider

The operator’s directory lists ski and snowboard providers including Mali Mrav, Nine, SkiGuru, HULJS, Triton.lab and Hero Sport Academy, plus Ski rent 1111 Platak at Platak 8. Nine’s listed equipment collection is in Rijeka with advance arrangement, so do not assume every listed provider hands equipment out beside the lifts. Confirm the meeting point, suitable equipment, lesson level and return time with the provider.

The operator lists food and accommodation at the large Platak lodge and the smaller Sušak lodge, and places X bar beside the lower Radeševo chair station. These listings establish service context, not current opening, a ski package or available beds. The centre’s published contact is platak@gsc-pgz.hr and +385 91 181 1808; its Delnice office address is not the ski-base destination.

Unconfirmed: current provider hours, rental stock and fitting, ski-pass inclusions, childcare, lockers, adaptive lessons and individual assistance are not established. Reconfirm bookings and the final equipment return before buying a pass. Do not rely on an old recreation or barbecue schedule for winter ski services.
