Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.
Unconfirmed: the operator map page is linked separately, but a current artwork edition and lawful inline preview have not been verified; no operator artwork is reproduced in this guide. The independent map retains six community downhill lines and eight surface-lift alignments across the main managed alpine hill. Seven closed area outlines, two learner rope tows whose relationship to the current conveyor is unverified, two unnamed connectors and unresolved eastern lines 8 and 9 are omitted. The current beginner conveyor is not mapped. Park, mini-park and summer activities are outside scope. Generic grades remain grey and community names or numbers are not verified current operator aliases. These objects are not the resort inventory, live opening, access permission, a guaranteed connection or navigation; no operator-artwork comparison is claimed.
Access: Register at the school first if taking a lesson, then arrange rental and the appropriate ticket. Confirm the open learning area and conveyor with staff.
The operator describes a beginner slope with a conveyor; the café page identifies the learning slope as track 10.
02
Managed main slopes
Access: Before riding a surface tow, ask which marked descent and return suit your ability. Snowpark and mini-park are separate from this map.
The advertised alpine slopes open gradually according to snow conditions; map lines are not current opening or a complete resort inventory.
01
Start at the Minsko pl. 2 ski base
Use the operator’s two approaches from Minsko plentas or Liepkalnio Street and confirm the usable winter entrance. Lesson clients register at the school before rental and ticket collection. The approximate map pin does not establish a surveyed gate or accessible route.
02
Choose learning terrain before the main slopes
The operator identifies a beginner conveyor and the café beside learning track 10. Arrange the appropriate instruction and ticket, then ask staff which marked open slope and connection suit your ability. The park and mini-park are separate.
03
Confirm a suitable return and equipment deadline
Before ascending, identify an authorised descent toward your starting side, the final usable service and rental-return time. Leave tow exits promptly and do not descend tow lanes or improvise a walking shortcut. Downhill passenger carriage and map connections are not guaranteed.

Choose the beginner area or a suitable marked alpine descent
Liepkalnis is a managed alpine ski and snowboard area in Vilnius at Minsko pl. 2. The operator describes ten slopes totalling 2.6 km, opened progressively as snowmaking and natural conditions permit. This guide covers managed alpine terrain; the separately described snowpark, mini-park and summer attractions are outside its independent map scope. An advertised total is not a count of community map segments or proof that the whole area is usable.
The current winter description identifies a beginner slope with a conveyor, and the café page calls the adjacent learning slope track 10. Start with instruction if you cannot yet stop, turn and use the appropriate uplift confidently. Ask staff to identify the open terrain and suitable return before ascending; a numbered community line does not establish an exact current operator alias or local grade.
Conflicting sources: the linked ticket platform advertises ten tracks and ten lifts, but its colour breakdown is one green, four blue, three red and one black, totalling nine tracks. The operator’s current winter text describes ten slopes and a beginner conveyor without reconciling that breakdown. No complete current inventory or colour assignment to individual map lines is inferred.
Historical: Alga photographed Liepkalnis with the Vilnius skyline on 25 January 2017. The winter slope and surface-tow equipment are archive context, not evidence of today’s snow, installation footprint or skiing availability.
Confirm the surface tow, descent and final return before ascending
The operator describes a conveyor on the learning slope, while its rules cover platter, T-bar and Multilift-style surface uplift. Beginners must ask the lift attendant for assistance. Board and leave only at the designated places, keep clothing fastened, remove pole straps and follow the attendant’s instructions; snowboard users release one foot for the tow. Travel straight, clear the track promptly after a fall and leave the exit immediately.
One person may use a platter holder and no more than two may share a T-bar under the published rules. Check a suitable open descent toward your starting side before boarding. Tow tracks are not downhill pistes and the rules prohibit crossing the boundary between the tow track and the descent area. A mapped line neither promises a physical connection nor downhill passenger transport.
Unconfirmed: exact current lift identities, operating inventory, 2026/27 opening dates, daily skiing hours and last usable service have not been established. The checked English and Lithuanian winter pages explicitly report that the venue is closed and show zero open slopes and lifts. The ticket platform’s blank operating fields do not supersede that source observation, and its advertised holiday prices do not announce a season opening.
Use the ski-base address and allow time for school, rental and ticket collection
The operator gives Minsko pl. 2, LT-02121 Vilnius, with entrances from Minsko plentas and Liepkalnio Street. Its FAQ describes free parking, and its beginner page names the Žirniai bus stop. The map pin is an approximate community ski-base planning reference near that address, not a surveyed gate, parking bay or accessible route. Confirm which entrance is usable in winter before setting off.
For a lesson, go to the ski school first, then collect fitted rental equipment and obtain the ski ticket. Independent visitors needing hire go to rental before the cashier; those with their own equipment can proceed to the ticket office. The beginner page recommends arriving 20–30 minutes early on weekdays and 30–40 minutes early at weekends; the school page says 30 minutes. Follow the preparation time supplied for the actual booking.
Unconfirmed: current bus routes and departure times to Žirniai, the final winter walking approach, parking capacity, step-free access and individual assistance have not been verified. A named stop and free-parking description do not establish a suitable accessible journey; agree the arrival and equipment-handling arrangements directly with staff.
Check the session, age band and separate service charges before paying
The current price page directs visitors to Ski Pass Baltics for timed tickets and says on-site tickets cost more. It explicitly applies weekend pricing from 24 December 2026 through 3 January 2027. The linked platform displays standard ages-12-plus tickets of €18/€21/€25 for one/two/three weekday hours and €20/€26/€30 at weekends or holidays. It lists separate under-six and six-to-under-twelve/senior/disability categories; take evidence of eligibility to the cashier.
Unconfirmed: a season-valid final payable price, available sessions, discount eligibility and all checkout conditions have not been established. The displayed platform tariff is undated; the dated holiday-pricing notice does not establish opening or ticket availability. Confirm the selected local date, time, duration, pass and any separate rental or lesson charges before payment. No booking or checkout submission was made for this guide.
Conflicting sources: rule 1.6 describes tickets obtained from on-site staff, while the current FAQ permits full-price prepaid collection at a self-service machine and directs discounted visitors to the cashier. Follow the actual authorised collection instruction and retain the booking QR code; do not assume an online confirmation alone admits you to the slope.
The FAQ states that tickets are non-refundable, recommends transfer when unused and permits a paid change of the whole booking when more than 24 hours remain, using the confirmation’s change-order control. The rules also reject weather or surface-condition refunds after ticket validity starts. The current FAQ offers no season pass. Check the applicable terms before buying; this is an attributed account of published conditions, not an individual eligibility or refund decision.
Follow the local alpine rules and keep park restrictions separate
The rules require a valid ticket or express permission, serviceable alpine skis or a snowboard, ski brakes, a snowboard safety leash and pole baskets. Children under twelve need direct adult supervision. Sledges, plastic sheets, Nordic skis, animals, intoxicated use and ordinary walking in descent or lift zones are prohibited. No uphill, touring, closed-slope or off-piste permission follows from this guide or its map.
Inspect snow and visibility before each descent, choose a controlled speed, leave room for people below and keep clear of tow tracks. Do not enter terrain occupied by grooming or service vehicles even when a lift runs; keep clear of operating snowmaking equipment. Report accidents immediately to slope staff and assist the injured. The FAQ requires helmets for children under six and all park users, and recommends them on other slopes.
Conflicting sources: section 4.9 of both checked language versions limits park skiing to people aged at least sixteen, while their park annex prohibits under-sixteens only when they lack parental or instructor supervision. The English text says the Lithuanian version governs discrepancies, but the Lithuanian page contains the same internal difference. Confirm the stricter applicable posted age rule with staff; no park or mini-park geometry or permission is supplied here.
The current rules require the owner’s prior written consent for on-slope photography, filming, live streaming, social-media content and commercial activities, including paid teaching. Public access to a photograph or a piste map does not grant these permissions. This guide undertakes no on-site content creation, copies no operator artwork and claims no operator approval.
Unconfirmed: individual adaptive participation, a step-free rescue meeting point and the precise on-site patrol or medical arrangement have not been verified. Agree assistance and how to summon staff before skiing; a listed disability ticket category does not establish adapted terrain, instruction or evacuation.
Arrange fitting and lessons with the correct service provider
The contacts distinguish slope operator UAB Trade State, ski-school operator UAB Maltukis and café operator UAB Skanus Kalnas. The cashier’s short-information number is +370 620 52222; administration uses info@liepkalnis.lt. For lessons, the school lists +370 687 96392 and mokykla@liepkalnis.lt; the café lists kavine@liepkalnis.lt. Agree bookings with the relevant provider rather than assuming all services share one contract.
The rental page lists alpine skis, snowboards, boots, poles and helmets, with staff fitting to height, weight and ability. Provide accurate measurements and report uncomfortable or unsuitable equipment. Its undated tariff lists a full set at €14 for the first hour and €7 per additional hour; rental begins when equipment is issued and the FAQ describes an extra 15-minute allowance before late charges. Confirm the actual return deadline and hand back the complete set together.
The school describes individual and group lessons, normally 50 minutes, with an undated €40 individual tariff and separate lift and rental charges. It describes skiing from around age three to four and snowboarding from six, subject to individual suitability. Its booking text says reservations are non-cancellable and requests changes at least 24 hours beforehand; confirm the booked terms and meeting point rather than relying on its retained late-evening lesson wording while current hours show closed.
The FAQ says there is no clothing rental or lockable storage; monitored shelves are not secure lockers. Toilets are in the rental and café buildings. The café is described beside the beginner slope, but its current page also shows closed.
Unconfirmed: future service hours, equipment stock and sizes, final lesson and rental prices, instructor availability and languages, accessible toilets and adapted assistance have not been established. Published service descriptions and historical evening-hour fragments are not live availability.
Selected historical name and local-grade references only. The coverage note explains the unavailable current official plan. This list establishes neither the full inventory nor current opening or access.
