SKI AREA LAYOUTThe operator advertises 71 km; its resort overview says 66 runs while the technical table says 67. The independent community segments are not a piste inventory.
UPLIFTThe technical table advertises 16 installations: one gondola, eight chairlifts, three drag lifts and four conveyors. The map contains 16 passenger way segments, including two gondola sections; these are different counting units and do not prove current operation.
LOCAL DIFFICULTYFollow the resort’s local green, blue, red and black signs and staff advice. Generic community difficulty remains grey; no universal grade conversion is made.

Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.

Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.

Unconfirmed: the operator map page is linked separately, but a current artwork edition and lawful inline preview have not been verified; no operator artwork is reproduced in this guide. The independent ODbL map covers the La Molina central bases, eastern Roc Blanc/Alabau/Torrent Negre sectors, Cadí-Moixeró gondola and El Llac/Coll de Pal branch. The ambiguous Coll Sisè sledging-area alignment, Masella, Dues Estacions, anonymous objects, polygons, doubtful Set Fonts and abandoned facilities are omitted. Its 69 downhill segments and 16 passenger ways are not an operator inventory. Generic grades remain grey. No artwork comparison, current installation, skiing opening, access, safe snow, usable crossing, return or navigation is claimed.

HOW THE AREA CONNECTS

Understand the sectors.

01

Telecabina, Fontcanaleta and Pista Llarga

Access: Central service bases and named community passenger corridors

The operator identifies separate parking and service points. Arrange the exact school or adapted-sport meeting point; these bases are not interchangeable.

02

Roc Blanc, Alabau and Torrent Negre

Access: Named community Roc Blanc, Alabaus, Pedró and Torrent Negre alignments

Eastern managed alpine extent shown by the independent map. Check the actual open connection and suitable return with staff before changing sector.

03

Cadí-Moixeró, El Llac and Coll de Pal

Access: Two community gondola sections, El Llac chairlift and Coll de Pal learning corridors

Upper and southern branches of the mapped extent. Masella and the Dues Estacions boundary connection are omitted; no through-pass entitlement or usable crossing is implied.

01

Choose Telecabina or Pista Llarga deliberately

The operator lists different parking and service bases at Telecabina, Fontcanaleta and Pista Llarga. The railway station needs a separate mountain transfer. Confirm the exact lesson, rental or adapted-sport meeting point before choosing your arrival base.

02

Check open connections before changing sector

Community geometry spans the central bases, Roc Blanc, Alabau, Torrent Negre and the gondola/El Llac/Coll de Pal branches. Ask staff which marked open connection suits your ability. Masella and the Dues Estacions crossing are omitted; a La Molina pass does not cover the joint domain.

03

Return to your own base before the last connection

Confirm the last usable connecting lift and gondola download with staff before ascending or changing sector. Current final-return times are unconfirmed. Plan the railway-transfer return separately; neither the mixed calendar nor a community line guarantees a skiing return or a crossing into Masella.

Keep La Molina separate from the joint domain

The operator describes La Molina as managed alpine terrain in Cerdanya. Its technical factsheet places the ski area between 1,667 and 2,537 m and advertises 71 km. ALP2500 combines La Molina and Masella; its 145 km and combined facilities must not be read as La Molina’s own inventory.

Conflicting sources: on 31 October 2026 the resort overview lists 66 runs, while the technical factsheet lists 67, split into 20 green, 18 blue, 23 red and six black. These are published claims rather than a fresh independent inventory. Follow local signs; the map’s generic difficulty tags remain grey.

The independent map retains 69 named downhill way segments and 16 passenger alignments around the central bases, eastern sectors, gondola and Coll de Pal branch. It omits the ambiguous Coll Sisè sledging-area alignment, Masella, the Dues Estacions boundary connection, anonymous objects, polygons, doubtful or abandoned equipment and backcountry terrain. Segments are not pistes; freestyle, touring and sledging need separate arrangements.

Choose your base and arrange the complete return

Telecabina, Fontcanaleta and Pista Llarga are separate central starting points, with Roc Blanc and Alabau farther east. The independent community map shows the Cadí-Moixeró gondola in two sections, together with El Llac and the Coll de Pal branch; its 16 passenger ways must not be equated with the operator’s 16 installations.

Conflicting sources: the practical page mixes January–April 2026 with December 2026–April 2027 calendars and retains different office and slope-hour blocks. The live page has blank update, piste and lift fields plus an undated season-over banner. None establishes present skiing, an exact opening date or the coming winter’s final boarding times.

Unconfirmed: individual last uplifts, a usable link between sectors and the final gondola download have not been established for your visit. Ask staff how to get back to your own parking or bus stop before ascending. The operator’s description of a scenic connection to Masella is not proof of a currently open skiing crossing.

Treat train packages and the mountain transfer separately

The practical page identifies parking at Telecabina P1/P2, Fontcanaleta P3, Pista Llarga P4, Roc Blanc P5, Alabau P6 and Llac P8. The railway station is a separate transfer point, not the ski-school meeting place. Choose your arrival base with the provider and allow time for ticket collection and equipment fitting.

The operator describes Ski Tren as a return R3 rail journey, internal bus, one-day La Molina pass and insurance. It separately lists La Molina-only and La Molina–Masella bus products; its Bus Natura product is a sightseeing gondola trip. Those products cannot be substituted for one another.

Unconfirmed: a dated 2026/27 transport timetable and continued validity of the practical page’s package prices or internal-bus departures are not established. The page itself links R3 disruption information. Check the current rail operator, transfer provider and return booking before paying; parking and a step-free journey are not guaranteed.

Check La Molina, ALP2500 and the exact product

The rates page checked on 31 October 2026 lists a La Molina adult day, age 25–64, at EUR 49; youth 12–24 at EUR 41.50 and children 7–11 at EUR 36. The separately headed ALP2500 adult day is EUR 57. It advertises a EUR 3 ticket-office or kiosk surcharge on online-available products, with stated exceptions.

Unconfirmed: these undated day-price rows do not establish a guaranteed 2026/27 quote for your chosen date. Check category evidence, product restrictions, checkout total and card charge. The terms price the reusable non-refundable Pirineu365 carrier at EUR 2; FlexiPass is a different automatically billed membership.

The sales terms require a La Molina–Masella pass for skiing in both resorts; a single-resort pass does not cover the other. They describe a EUR 10 return-pass remedy purchased at a resort base, not a general invitation to cross. Confirm return arrangements before crossing; inspect the applicable refund and accident-insurance terms separately.

Use open marked terrain and staff instructions

The published sales rules warn about changing high-mountain snow and weather, prohibit using closed or unmarked terrain and require compliance with barriers and lift staff. They limit ordinary slope activity to skiing and snowboarding, with a stated reduced-mobility exception for other equipment. Choose terrain within your ability; this alpine guide grants no touring or off-piste access.

The official site lists emergency contact +34 972 145 087. Its services page advertises seasonal medical care at the foot of the slopes, with medical-service telephone +34 972 892 928. Confirm the local alarm point and operating arrangements on arrival; a medical listing is not proof of coverage outside managed open terrain.

Unconfirmed: current avalanche conditions, patrol availability, overnight grooming restrictions and any separate uphill itinerary have not been established for your visit. Obtain current staff instructions and appropriate mountain information. Never use the independent map to justify crossing closures or relying on a late return.

Arrange lessons, fitting and adapted assistance in advance

The official school directory lists ski and snowboard providers across the main resort areas, with private and group lessons. The rental service lists equipment and clothing, includes helmets in children’s packages and makes them optional for adults. Confirm helmet fit, collection base, lesson meeting point and return time; renting touring equipment is not access permission.

The Adapted Sports Center describes specialist lessons, reserved parking, adapted rentals and the El Bosquet learning area. It lists +34 679 877 482 and reservas@playandtrain.org. Ask for the exact equipment, instructor, boarding support and route suitable for your needs rather than treating an accessibility claim as an individual guarantee.

Unconfirmed: current lesson slots, rental stock and an individual accessible transfer are not established. General resort information is +34 972 892 031 and lamolina@lamolina.cat. The operator also lists ski storage and an indoor picnic shelter in the gondola building; confirm availability and access hours before relying on them.
