Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.
Independent ODbL community geometry covers the managed downhill network from the Kreischberg valley base through the upper gondola area to Sunshine, Sixpack and Rosenkranz, including the Schopfart valley sector. Ten mapped passenger sections include two sections of Kreischberg 10er and are not ten separate physical lifts. The Rosenkranzbahn chair alignment is tagged under construction and is omitted; the separate Rosenkranz surface-lift alignment is not the old two-seat chair and is not relabelled as the new eight-seat chair. The tubing tow is omitted. Nordic, touring, freeride, technical, private, proposed and disused objects are outside this scope. Community difficulty remains grey because no literal local colour or inspected exact operator-grade match has been established. The original canonical OSM API HTTP response Date is the snapshot clock, not an Overpass replication timestamp. Unconfirmed: the operator winter-map landing and its interactive-map control are accessible, but the artwork edition, current footprint and preview or reproduction rights are not established; no operator artwork is copied or embedded. Mapped ways are not piste counts, a complete lift inventory, current skiing, grooming, patrol, access permission, safe navigation or a guaranteed complete return.
Access: Begin at the operator valley base in St. Georgen/St. Lorenzen. Kreischberg 10er has a middle station before the upper mountain; Schopfart serves the separate lower World Championships slope context.
The operator describes a 868 m valley, 1,441 m middle station and 1,771 m gondola mountain station. These are installation references, not a promise of an open valley descent or suitable learner return.
02
Riegleralm, Sunshine and Sixpack
Access: The operator says Riegleralm links the upper mountain with slopes at Sixpack, the Sonnen lifts and Rosenkranz. Confirm the actual open connections and ticket scope before changing sector.
Learner facilities and the Kreischi surface lift are distinct from the longer mountain runs. A snowpark is an activity area, not an assumed beginner route or current opening report.
03
Rosenkranz
Access: The operator announces a new eight-seat chair for December 2026, replacing the two-seat chair from 1994. Its construction-tagged community alignment is omitted from the working map.
The separate community Rosenkranzlift is tagged as a surface lift. It is not evidence that the old chair remains, that the new chair has opened, or that every descent from this sector is available.
01
Start: the two-section Kreischberg 10er
Begin at the valley base near St. Lorenzen and distinguish the middle station from the upper mountain. The approximate pin is a transport reference, not guaranteed parking or accessible boarding. Confirm your meeting point, pass and return before ascending.
02
Connect: Riegleralm, Sunshine, Sixpack and Rosenkranz
The operator describes upper connections from Riegleralm towards Sixpack, the Sonnen lifts and Rosenkranz. Check the signed open links and your ability before changing sector. The planned new Rosenkranz chair is omitted from the community map while tagged under construction.
03
Return: confirm every final connection
Unconfirmed: the last skier boarding, final gondola download and safe complete return from every upper sector are not established. The general 16:00 close is not a latest-departure itinerary. Confirm your entire return to the actual arrival base with staff.
Use the two-section access gondola to orient your day, distinguish the planned new Rosenkranz chair from older lift identities, and arrange a complete return before leaving your base.

Choose the right sector and signed grade
The operator advertises 42 km of pistes and 13 lifts and cable cars. These are its published resort totals, distinct from the number of community-map line segments or selected route references. The managed mountain includes learner terrain, longer intermediate runs and more demanding descents; use the actual signed local grade rather than an assumed universal colour.
The children’s page describes a learner area with a carpet and baby lift, followed by the Kreischi lift, and names Dino Forest, Ghost Track and Safari activities. These descriptions do not establish current opening or an independently verified complete learner footprint. Choose teaching terrain with staff before taking a beginner higher.
Unconfirmed: current public skiing, the day’s open pistes, grooming and the availability of a suitable full descent to the valley are not established. Our independent map omits the construction-tagged Rosenkranz chair and tubing lift and keeps community difficulty grey. It is a planning overview, not a navigation or safety clearance.
Distinguish access gondolas, upper sectors and the new chair
The two-section Kreischberg 10er is the main valley approach. The operator describes intermediate boarding at 1,441 m and an upper station at 1,771 m. Riegleralm provides another gondola link on the upper mountain, with access towards Sixpack, the Sonnen lifts and Rosenkranz; Schopfart serves the lower World Championships area.
The operator announces the Rosenkranz eight-seat chair for December 2026 as the replacement of its 1994 two-seat chair. The new chair’s community alignment is explicitly tagged under construction and is excluded. The separate Rosenkranz surface lift is a different installation and is not used as a substitute for either chair generation.
The operator lists 4 December 2026–29 March 2027 and general hours of 08:30–16:00. Unconfirmed: actual commissioning, individual first and last boarding, sector connections, complete gondola download and the latest safe departure back to your arrival base are not established. Ask staff before leaving the upper mountain; the general closing hour is not a return itinerary.
The operator contact address is Kreischbergstraße 1, 8861 St. Georgen am Kreischberg. Hire is described in St. Lorenzen ob Murau at the valley station. Our pin marks the approximate community-map gondola reference and does not reserve parking or identify a surveyed entrance.
The arrival page links the regional public transport journey planner. Use it for the actual date, check the final walking transfer and arrange the complete outward and return journey. A regional pass valid elsewhere does not supply a ski connection or transport between separate mountains.
Historical: the operator’s 7 November 2023 terms limit its parking to ski-pass customers between 08:00 and 20:00. Unconfirmed: current parking availability, fees, winter road arrangements, public transport departure times and individual step-free or assisted boarding are not established. The website accessibility statement concerns the website; it is not a physical mountain-access guarantee.
The 2026/27 table lists a full adult day from 08:30 at EUR 72 in the 25 December–15 March peak period and EUR 65 in early/late season, including VAT. Child rates are EUR 36 / 32.50 and youth rates EUR 57.50 / 52. The information page defines children as birth years 2011–2020 and youth as 2001–2010; children born 2021 or later use the free Mini Ticket arrangement. Verify eligibility and the exact product before paying.
The table separately offers later starts, a morning ticket ending at 13:00, two-, three- and four-hour products, and a EUR 18 adult single ascent covering both Kreischberg 10er sections. Those products are not interchangeable with an all-day skiing entitlement or a guaranteed full return. The information page lists a refundable EUR 3 key-card deposit.
Multi-day products are advertised for Kreischberg and Lachtal; that shared ticket does not mean the resorts are linked by piste or lift. Historical: general terms dated 7 November 2023 restrict pedestrian tickets to travellers without winter-sports equipment and make access subject to operating facilities. Unconfirmed: dated checkout availability, individual concessions, unused-day treatment and the precise final download entitlement need confirmation for the purchased product.
Follow the signed open managed-piste network, local grades, lift instructions and staff directions. The operator terms require compliance with FIS conduct rules. Keep speed and spacing appropriate to visibility, traffic and ability; this guide gives no off-piste, touring, avalanche or forest-access permission.
Historical: the posted terms, dated 7 November 2023, prohibit piste entry and skiing from 17:00 to 08:00 and warn of grooming machines, winch ropes, snowmaking, exposed cables and hoses. They also prohibit pedestrians and tobogganing on ski slopes and specify supervised lift use for smaller children. Recheck the current posted transport rules and closures; never treat an old timetable as permission to enter.
Styria’s official civil-protection page lists mountain rescue at 140. Give the exact location and follow the dispatcher’s instructions. Unconfirmed: on-site patrol deployment, medical opening, rescue response, individual assistance and a safe complete return are not established. Arrange the intended day’s final sector connection, valley descent or gondola download before setting out.
Arrange hire, lessons and the actual meeting point
The operator lists Intersport Rent Pintar at the valley and mountain stations, with +43 3537 22 222 and office@sportpintar.at. It also lists SULI ski, snowboard and toboggan hire in St. Lorenzen and at the mountain snowboard school, with +43 3537 264 and snowboardschule@suli.at. Confirm which location handles your collection and return.
Kreischberg–Mayer, SULI and Richi’s are listed as separate schools. Confirm the discipline, lesson level, exact meeting point, equipment, pass requirements and the available learner terrain directly with the intended provider; no reservation or current opening is implied by a directory listing.
The lift description includes toilets and ticket facilities at the valley, and a lounge, toilets, shop and group depots at the upper station. The operator’s general contact is +43 3537 300 / office@kreischberg.at. Unconfirmed: current hire prices and hours, lesson availability, depot eligibility, restaurant opening and individual assistance are not established.
Selected source-checked references only. Use the complete official plan for the network; this list is not the resort’s total piste count or live opening report.
