Choose your starting side before heading up: Klínovec–Neklid has Jáchymov and Loučná approaches, a distinct Neklid base and separate Boží Dar sectors. Use the independent alpine map to plan the day, then check open connections and your final return; travel to the separate Fichtelberg ski area requires ground transport.
086MAPS / UNDERSTAND THE AREA
Explore the independent community map and practical starting bases. Read the coverage limits and check current opening and access with the operator.
Colours show the published skiing status or confirmed operating calendar, not whether every lift is running. Check the operator before travel.
Confirmed dates change colours automatically in the place’s local time. Tentative dates, conflicting reports and expired checks remain black.
Unconfirmed: a current edition and lawful preview basis for the operator’s piste artwork have not been established; that artwork is omitted. Scoped community alpine centre lines and verified passenger alignments cover the Klínovec/Jáchymov/Loučná and Neklid groups, with distinct Za Prahou and Hranice satellites. Novako, Fichtelberg, unknown lifts, piste-area outlines, snowpark features and unreferenced uncertain lines are omitted. Explicit freeride, backcountry, abandoned, technical, private and proposed features are excluded. Some small facilities and connections are not mapped; generic difficulties remain grey and way segments are not an operator inventory. No current opening, access, safe connection, descent or navigation is guaranteed. The snapshot clock is the canonical OSM API HTTP response Date, not an Overpass replication timestamp. The operator’s Klínovec–Neklid winter-map landing page is linked separately as an external source; no operator artwork is reproduced here.
HOW THE AREA CONNECTS
Access: The operator distinguishes Jáchymov parking P4/P5 from Loučná parking P1/P2/P3.
Mapy.com Express serves the Jáchymov side; the northern chairs and lesson meeting points have separate approaches.
Access: The operator directs arrivals from Boží Dar to Neklid parking P6/P7; Štikovka and the VL surface lifts are listed separately.
Plan signed open connections and a skiable return. The published Klement–Neklid chair conditions prohibit passenger descent.
Access: Za Prahou and Hranice are separate named groups in the operator’s report and pass information.
Do not assume a continuous lift or piste link to every satellite; Novako and German Fichtelberg are outside this mapped identity.
Choose Loučná P1–P3, Jáchymov P4/P5 or Neklid P6/P7. The school building is at Jáchymov 1065 by Mapy.com Express; Dámská and the children’s park have separate meeting references. Confirm the exact lesson or lift start before booking transport.
Ask staff which signed open routes connect Klínovec and Neklid at your ability. Za Prahou and Hranice are distinct satellite groups. Fichtelberg is a separate German area reached by ground transfer under the wider pass offer. Historical: the linked bus timetable is 2025/26 and says service has ended.
Chair K’s published Klement–Neklid conditions prohibit passenger descent. Unconfirmed: today’s last boarding, every return connection and a dated 2026/27 bus journey are not verified. Confirm a skiable return with staff and arrange a separate road alternative before leaving your starting base; general piste hours are not last-lift times.

The operator presents Klínovec and Neklid as its managed alpine area, with distinct Jáchymov and Loučná starting sides and named Boží Dar satellite sectors. Its report separately lists Za Prahou and Hranice. A pass covering those names is not evidence that every sector is continuously linked by open pistes or lifts.
The home page advertises 31.5 km of pistes, five chairways, eight surface lifts and five carpets. These are attributed operator totals, not a transcribed or independently measured inventory. The independent map shows reviewed community centre lines and passenger alignments; its way segments are not a piste count, and some small facilities are unmapped.
Fichtelberg is a separate German ski area in the InterSkiRegion offer. The operator advertises a shared pass from 1.5 days and ground transfer between the two areas, rather than a continuous cross-border lift network. Nordic, touring, summer biking, snowpark features and freeride lines are outside this map’s supported alpine scope.
Historical: Britta Beck’s genuine 1 February 2023 photograph shows snow, mist, incidental skiers and a chair terminal on Klínovec. This CC BY-SA 4.0 archive image does not establish current snow, lift identity or layout, open pistes or access.
The current lift list names Mapy.com Express A on the Jáchymov side, CineStar Express B, Přemostěná C, Dámská D and Neklid Štikovka K. It separately lists the surface lifts and carpets. Unconfirmed: community alignment C still carries the Suzuki name; its current operator-name match and a complete mapped inventory have not been established.
The official school gives four distinct meeting references: the children’s park, its Jáchymov building and the upper and lower Dámská stations. Beginner lessons are assigned to meeting point 1. Check the exact booked location before boarding; arriving at one base does not put you at every lesson or connection.
The Klement–Neklid chair K transport conditions prohibit passenger descent except service journeys. Do not plan to download that chair if a ski return is unsuitable. Unconfirmed: each currently usable Klínovec–Neklid connection, final boarding and complete return to your starting base need confirmation from staff on the day.
Historical: the linked area rules, effective from 15 September 2022, describe general lift hours of 09:00–16:00 and piste use to 16:30; evening lifts end at 21:00 while designated evening piste use ends at 21:30. These are different scopes, not permission to board at piste closing time. Unconfirmed: today’s skiing, individual winter hours and evening operating dates are not established by the undated report or autumn banner.
For the Loučná side the operator directs approaches via České Hamry to P1, P2 and P3. From Karlovy Vary it describes the Jáchymov approach to P4/P5 beside the lower Jáchymovská station. From Boží Dar it offers Neklid P6/P7 or the Loučná parking. It advertises more than 2,000 free car spaces across the area; verify current access, availability and winter road conditions before departure.
Historical: the operator’s bus page says service has ended and retains the 25 December 2025–15 March 2026 season. Its line A linked Klínovec, Neklid, Boží Dar and Fichtelberg; other lines served Háj, Loučná/České Hamry and Jáchymov. Those old stops and times do not confirm a 2026/27 journey or final connection.
CITY SKI’s carrier page advertises day trips from Prague Dejvická and Plzeň Rondel and describes a bus waiting below Dámská. Unconfirmed: dated 2026/27 departures, the applicable price, exact stop, equipment terms, accessible transport and the final return for a specific day are not established here. Reserve the actual outbound and return journey directly; do not rely on a generic advertised departure or the old resort bus timetable.
The tariff page checked on 1 November 2026 lists a standard adult day at CZK 1,250, four hours at CZK 1,130 and three hours at CZK 1,060, plus a CZK 50 refundable card deposit. Children and seniors have birth-year categories with proof requirements. These are the published standard table values; verify the date-specific payable price, category and online conditions before buying.
Daily, hourly, single-ride and points products have their stated Klínovec scope. InterSkiRegion multiday products from 1.5 days and its separate season pass cover Fichtelberg as well, subject to the applicable conditions. The contract requires the first passage in the area where the multiday pass was bought. The tariff lists two adult days at CZK 2,440; confirm the exact consecutive or flexible-day product you need.
Ordinary daytime and season products do not include evening skiing. The published evening product is for Dámská piste 2 and chair D on the operator’s selected evenings; a tariff is not confirmation that a particular evening will run. Keep the receipt and personal card, check validity before first passage and read the applicable complaint and interruption terms rather than assuming a refund.
Conflicting sources: the current tariff’s school-group text uses a minimum of 11 participants and a free 12th place, while the currently linked contract uses 12 participants and a free 13th place. Unconfirmed: the applicable school-group concession must be confirmed with the operator before booking. Historical: that linked contract is effective from 15 September 2022, although the tariff contains winter 2026/27 products; no silent correction or group entitlement is inferred.
Follow the operator’s published FIS conduct rules: control speed, give the downhill skier room, look before joining and avoid stopping in blind or narrow sections. Wear a helmet, choose signed open terrain within your ability and obey staff, barriers and closure signs. Report an accident to staff or mountain rescue; the area rules give +420 1210 and 112.
The area rules prohibit skiing through the forest outside pistes and warn that preparation outside permitted public hours is dangerous. Grooming and snowmaking can also close terrain during the day. Never approach winch cables or moving preparation machinery; local closure signs take priority over a website or map.
Touring has its own route-specific rules, status and time exceptions. Its currently linked rules require a visible flashing red light outside normal area hours and prohibit headphones; local closed or winch signs override an online open label. This alpine map grants no uphill or after-hours access. Explicit freeride, backcountry and abandoned lines are omitted, and a historical photograph cannot establish safe snow or present access.
The lift operator lists its office at Loučná pod Klínovcem 207, with information line +420 415 240 240. The official school, rental and equipment service share Jáchymov 1065 beside Mapy.com Express, with +420 415 242 242 and the school’s additional +420 607 071 980. These are service contacts, not a guarantee of seasonal opening hours or emergency response.
The school offers ski and snowboard instruction for beginners and experienced visitors and asks for reservations at least 48 hours ahead. Its children’s park has separate access conditions, while the rental lists adult and child ski/snowboard packages. Confirm equipment fitting, helmet availability, the exact meeting point, lift-pass inclusion and the return deadline in your booking.
The A and K transport conditions require discussion of assistance and staff approval for safe boarding; they say the chairs are not adapted to carry passengers seated in wheelchairs. A wheelchair itself may be carried only under the stated separate arrangements. Unconfirmed: a complete step-free journey, adapted equipment, accessible toilets, each transfer and the assisted return are not verified. Discuss your specific needs before buying; a concessionary ticket is not an accessibility guarantee.
Selected historical name and local-grade references only. The coverage note explains the unavailable current official plan. This list establishes neither the full inventory nor current opening or access.
