What defines this edition.
The race crosses Dalarna through seven staffed checkpoints before reaching Mora. This guide covers the main Sunday Vasaloppet only. Other races in the surrounding Winter Week have different distances, start locations, techniques and entry rules. All programme and cut-off times below are local to Sweden, Europe/Stockholm (UTC+01:00 on race day).
Elite and recreational entrants may race from the calendar year in which they turn 17, subject to accepted registration and the organiser’s rules. Swedish entrants in the competition class need membership of an affiliated Swedish ski club; international entrants do not need club membership and represent their country.

Checkpoint arrival cut-offs
Smågan 11:00; Mångsbodarna 12:15; Risberg 13:45; Evertsberg 15:00; Oxberg 16:30; Hökberg 17:40; Eldris 19:00. Leave each checkpoint within ten minutes of its arrival cut-off. Race management may change these limits in extreme weather.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST

Official race registration, subject to capacity and acceptance
Entry to the 90 km Sunday Vasaloppet. Bus travel and other Winter Week races require their own arrangements; do not assume they are included.. The organiser currently lists SEK 2,685 through 5 November 2026, SEK 2,735 from 6 November 2026 to 24 February 2027, and SEK 2,985 from 25 February to 7 March 2027. Confirm the live fee and availability before payment and read the registration and cancellation terms.

The pin is not the gate.
The pin indicates the broad Berga by starting area, south of Sälen village. It is not a surveyed entrance, parking bay or course track. Use the organiser’s current start-area map; the finish is in Mora, 90 race kilometres away.
Race-number and timing-chip collection takes place in Mora or Sälen before race day. Uncollected numbers are available at the Sälen starting area on race day; check the current race-office opening hours.
The organiser recommends its official buses for participants. Booking is scheduled to open in late November 2026; a complete 2027 timetable and bus fare have not yet been verified.
The official route map marks spectator parking near several checkpoints and Mora. It is a planning overview dated 17 December 2025, currently linked from the 2027 race page, rather than a guarantee of 2027 parking capacity or road access.
Use designated viewing areas and keep the competition track clear. The starting-area map marks an accessible parking area, but a complete accessible spectator route and individual assistance arrangements remain unverified; contact the organiser before travelling.
