01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
This guide covers the two-race World Cup weekend. The organiser separately schedules downhill training on 15, 16 and 17 December, each at noon. Those sessions are not extra race days. The 2031 World Championships promoted elsewhere on the site are a different edition and event.
The published programme puts both races and all three training sessions on the Saslong slope. This listing supplies no course geometry or public permission to enter the competition piste. Unconfirmed: the final 2026 course configuration, approved spectator boundaries and training-day admission are not established.
The Action page describes viewing beside the course and at the finish. It names a marked walking approach from Pozzamanigoni, La Sëlva Str. 51, and a ski/snowboard approach via Saslong B only when snow permits. Happy Zone is a standing grandstand at the finish, with tea and a hot dog listed. Neither description establishes a step-free route or a right to cross race barriers.
The 2026 ticket page says a cancellation at the 5 December FIS inspection brings a ticket-price refund excluding service commissions; later cancellation for weather or other force majeure carries no stated refund. Read the full terms before paying and assess travel/accommodation risk separately. Unconfirmed: final checkout charges, sale availability and any additional current contract terms are not verified.
Historical: “Fis Ski World Cup Val Gardena Ciampinoi arrival”, photographed by Wolfgang Moroder on 21 December 2013, shows the 46th Saslong Classic finish arena and its spectators. Original JPEG unchanged; responsive display crops under CC BY-SA 3.0. This archive photograph does not show the 2026 edition, its access layout or current snow.
Elite men’s World Cup races; public tickets are for spectating, not competitor entry. Unconfirmed: the accepted men’s field and final race-day arrangements are not established.

2026 sector prices published · sales availability unconfirmed
Date- and sector-specific spectator admission; standing, fan and hospitality products differ. The organiser lists Action at €33 for Super-G and €40 for downhill before presale/service charges. Happy Zone lists €50, €60 or €95 for both days. Other sectors have different benefits and prices. Conflicting sources: the main ticket page says sales are unavailable while the Action page still carries Buy links; those linked sales destinations returned no usable verified checkout. The main discount table includes ages 8–12 as free in Action, while the detail page says younger than 12. Unconfirmed: the exact age-12 entitlement and a payable current product are not established. Ask the ticket office before payment.

The pin is not the gate.
The point uses the object coordinates recorded with the licensed 2013 finish-arena photograph. Unconfirmed: the 2026 spectator gate, parking, collection point and accessible approach are not established by these coordinates. Follow the organiser’s current signed access; this is not a race-course or navigation map.
Historical: the organiser’s journey page still describes ride sharing for 19–20 December 2025. It does not supply a confirmed 2026 bus, parking or road plan. Unconfirmed: current shuttle stops/times, reserved parking, road restrictions and the complete last-return journey are not established. Plan the trip to the actual purchased sector and recheck the new travel bulletin.
The ticket page advertises a dedicated wheelchair viewing platform in the finish area, advance ordering through ticket@saslong.org or +39 338 1502143, free admission for the wheelchair user and a 50% assistant discount. Unconfirmed: platform capacity, the complete step-free transfer, toilets, assistance and return transport are not established. Confirm those details with the office before booking; a platform promise alone does not establish the whole journey.
