01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
A practical guide to entry categories, bib collection, mountain-course orientation, cutoffs and outward and return transport. Times are local: Europe/Oslo, CEST, UTC+02:00. Historical: Chmee2’s photograph shows Setermoen town on 21 July 2008, under CC BY-SA 3.0. It is summer host-town context, not the race, start arena, 2027 course or present snow conditions. Original JPEG unchanged; responsive display crops under the same licence.
The organiser’s written 35 km description runs from Artillerisletta through Storlømyra and Fossmyra, climbs towards Orta, descends through Grønnlidalen to Kampenhytta, then crosses towards Øverlitjønna, Sundlifjellet and the finish at Rustahøgda. It describes a high point at 659 m, steep climbing and fast descents with difficult bends. Historical: the undated description still refers to 34, 40 and 50 km alternatives. Its terrain account is orientation only, not accepted final 2027 geometry, navigation or permission to ski the route independently.
The 2027 rules list drinks and fruit at Storlømyra 5 km, Orta 13.5 km, Kampenhytta 20 km and Øverlitjønna 24 km, drinks at Lavvo 28 km, and drinks/fruit at the 35 km finish. Conflicting sources: the undated course description instead places Storlømyra at 5.5 km, Kampenhytta at 21 km, Øverlitjønna at 25.5 km and the BOIF lavvo at 30.5 km. These positions were checked on 30 October 2026 and are not silently reconciled. Follow final signs, controls and briefing.
Officials enforce classic technique. The organiser grants no right to demand that another skier clear the track; slower racers should keep right and leave left lanes available. Wear the bib and integrated chip visibly at the front. If withdrawing, tell the nearest first-aid post or feeding-station official and return the bib/chip. Skis may be changed only after ski or binding damage, with the jury informed immediately after finishing.
Historical: the about page still offers 35/50 km and the rules retain a 2026 footer, an international-seeding deadline of 23 March 2026 and a children’s-programme weekday/date mismatch. Those details are not rolled into the 2027 main race. Unconfirmed: final 2027 route geometry, total ascent, medical-post positions, weather changes and the recreational international-seeding deadline are not established. Operator artwork is omitted; use the current organiser pages and final instructions.
The 2027 organiser rules permit entrants born in 2012 or earlier in ranked SCR35K, and born in 2014 or earlier without ranking or timing. The announcement’s general age-13 message does not replace those category-specific birth-year rules. Participants must be physically and technically prepared and hold personal medical and liability insurance. Unconfirmed: any individual ski-licence, medical-document, foreign-insurance or adaptive-entry requirements beyond the published rules are not established; obtain an individual answer before paying.

Published online entry deadline
The 2027 rules close online registration at 20:00 Friday. Race-day entry is allowed only for the untimed SCR35K category; office opening until 11:00 does not promise registration or bib collection after your start.Saturday, April 3, 2027
Saturday race office and bib collection
Published office hours at Setermoen municipality hall. Arrive early enough to collect your bib, reach Artillerisletta, deliver your clothing bag and enter the correct pen before departure. No transfer duration is assumed.Saturday, April 3, 2027
Elite women — 35 km classic
Both organiser rules and the Ski Classics Pro Tour page list 10:00. This is the elite women’s start, not the start for all women or all recreational entrants. The rules open start gates 15 minutes before each departure.Saturday, April 3, 2027
Elite men and general SCR35K start
The organiser lists elite men and SCR35K, including untimed entrants, at 11:00. Untimed skiers start behind the other classes and may not leave ahead of the mass start. Elite timing runs from the gun; other timed entrants use their start-line crossing.Saturday, April 3, 2027
Orta cutoff
The 2027 rules place the Orta food/control point at 13.5 km. A skier missing the cutoff is removed from the race and transported by the organiser to the finish; obey officials and any final changes.Saturday, April 3, 2027
Kampenhytta cutoff
The 2027 rules list Kampenhytta at 20 km. The same removal and transport rule applies. Unconfirmed: a separate finish-closing time is not established in the checked rules.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST

The pin is not the gate.
The point is the published camera coordinate of the licensed Setermoen town photograph. It is a broad host-town planning reference, not the surveyed Artillerisletta start, race office, parking entrance or accessible route. The organiser names Artillerisletta/Setermoen as the start and Rustahøgda/Bardufoss as the finish.
The organiser’s published morning buses run from Målselv Fjellandsby at 07:45 via Rundhaug Gjestegård at 08:15 to Setermoen at 09:00; and from Haraldvollen at 07:50 via Bardufoss Hotell 08:10 and Bardufosstun 08:25, then approximately 30 minutes to Artillerisletta. Vaskeritomta, near Rema 1000 in Bardufoss, lists 08:30, 08:45 and 09:00 departures with approximately 30 minutes to the start. Allow separate time for bib collection and bag drop; a listed arrival is not a personal connection guarantee.
The practical page lists return shuttles from Rustahøgda to Vaskeritomta continuously 12:30–16:40, to Setermoen at 16:30, 17:00 and 17:30 with about 30 minutes to Artillerisletta, and to Målselv Fjellandsby via Rundhaug at 17:30. It quotes NOK 200 per trip, advance purchase with registration or payment on boarding by Vipps/card. Unconfirmed: final 2027 operation, seat availability, the exact boarding position, service for late finishers and connections beyond these stops are not guaranteed. Arrange both journeys and a fallback before travel.
The practical page offers free participant parking at Vaskeritomta and Artillerisletta and reserves Rustahøgda parking for spectators. The rules encourage drivers to park at the start and return by bus. Designated disabled parking is described by Skihuset at Rustahøgda and Bardufoss upper-secondary school. Unconfirmed: reserved capacity, race-day road restrictions, step-free transfers, toilets, adaptive participation and individual assistance are not established. Confirm the full journey and access arrangement with the organiser.
Clothing travels from start to finish in a labelled plastic bag, maximum 3 kg; the rules limit declared value to the entry fee. The practical page separates elite bag handling from the general 11:00 group and places general collection east of Bardufoss Storhall. It lists changing, showers and cafeteria in Bardufosshallen, with additional changing/showers at Polarbadet. Conflicting sources: the practical page gives an approximate 15:15 prize ceremony while the rules say the hall ceremony time is undecided. Do not use that approximate time to guarantee a return connection.
The series identifies Bardufoss airport as the nearest flight option and also mentions Tromsø and Harstad/Narvik airports. Unconfirmed: exact 2027 flight schedules, airport transfers, luggage acceptance, onward public transport and the return itinerary have not been verified. Regional airport descriptions are not race-day shuttle reservations; book only after checking both directions.
