01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
The current organiser homepage, 47th-edition rules and programme agree with the actual RockTheSport 2027 entry page. The weekend uses Pla de Beret for skiing and Centre Polivalent de Vielha for the Welcome House and bib collection. All times are venue-local Europe/Madrid, CET (UTC+01:00). This is an organised endurance event; a confirmed date does not establish present trail opening.
The organiser’s technical page provides 42, 21 and 10 km references and locates Pla de Beret separately from the Welcome House. Unconfirmed: a surveyed final 2027 alignment, elevation totals, Montgarri descent and current course-artwork edition. No organiser map, route line or photograph is copied or embedded; follow final official instructions.
Historical: Joan Simon (pastilletes) photographed Pla de Beret from Cabana de Gessa on 3 January 2011. This genuine snowy venue-area view does not depict Marxa Beret 2027, its participants, final course or current conditions. Original bytes retained; responsive display crops under CC BY-SA 2.0.
The current Spanish rules admit women and men born in 2011 or earlier to the 42 and 21 km races; the promotional 10 km is open to all, subject to organiser acceptance. Sunday requires classic technique. Unconfirmed: final category allocation, guardian requirements, Mini distance/start and the separate sprint entry conditions; ask the organiser before choosing an entry.

Advance Welcome House opening
The 47th-edition programme opens the registration room on Friday in Vielha. Unconfirmed: Friday bib collection; the actual rules specifically require collection on Saturday, so obtain your individual instructions rather than assume the Friday room window includes every service.Saturday, February 6, 2027
Bib collection · Centre Polivalent de Vielha
The current rules require identity documentation and the applicable skiing licence or federation card. This is in Vielha, separate from the mountain stadium. Conflicting sources: the English entries page labels in-person entry 31 January, while the actual 47th rules put it on the day before the race, 6 February. Confirm before relying on late entry.Saturday, February 6, 2027
Separate sprint · Pla de Beret
Conflicting sources: the Spanish 47th rules specify free technique, but the English rules say classic; the programme also calls it a Spanish championship while the rules call it a cup. Unconfirmed: binding sprint discipline, entry, category and final format. Obtain organiser/federation confirmation for this separate race.Saturday, February 6, 2027
Sprint awards and Marxa presentation
The programme lists sprint awards at 19:00 and the 47th Marxa presentation at 19:30 at the Welcome House. Conflicting sources: the English programme labels these skating awards despite the English rules specifying a classic sprint. This wording does not resolve the separate sprint-rule conflict.Sunday, February 7, 2027
Marxa Beret · classic 42 / 21 / 10 km
The current rules give a simultaneous 10:00 start for all three Sunday distances and explicitly require classic technique. Conflicting sources: the English description calls the promotional 10 km freestyle, while the Spanish rules call it promotional and the technical page specifies classic. Do not interpret the English phrase as permission to skate.Sunday, February 7, 2027
Awards, ceremony and published course close
The 47th programme lists awards at 13:30, closing ceremony at 14:00 and course closure at 15:00. Conflicting sources: the undated FAQ says trails begin closing at 14:00. Unconfirmed: final checkpoint cutoffs and your applicable finish limit. Confirm these before starting; the ceremony is not a transport departure or a guaranteed right to continue.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST
Attend with the live instructions.
The organiser links the actual 47th-edition RockTheSport entry and public tariff-selection pages; both were inspected without submitting a form or making a payment.
42 / 21 / 10 km entry; separate Mini and concession categories are listed. Sprint entitlement is not inferred from a Sunday entry.. The current rules and portal list EUR 30 through 15 January 2027 and EUR 35 from 16–31 January for the three main distances; rules add EUR 5 event insurance where required. The rules list EUR 40 in person, EUR 20 online for over-70s, under-7s and participants with disabilities, and EUR 15 Mini, with insurance separately stated. Conflicting sources: the portal opens registration on 3 November 2026, while the organiser says 6 November; the selection page still calls the over-70 entry free until 15 January 2026 despite its EUR 20 price. Historical: the English entries page retains 2025/26 federation-card dates. Unconfirmed: individual concession/insurance eligibility, any platform charges, remaining capacity and the final checkout total. The rules cap entry at 1,200 and state cancellation refunds deduct 40% for organisation costs. Read the actual current terms before payment; no live ticket Offer is asserted.

The pin is not the gate.
The rounded point follows the Pla de Beret route reference published on the organiser’s technical page. It is a planning reference, not a surveyed 2027 start pen, entrance, parking allocation or accessible drop-off. Bib collection is separately in Vielha; follow the final signed event approach.
The general contact page places the Welcome House at Pso. Dera Libertat, Sala Polivalente, Vielha. Its 09:00–14:00 office hours are separate from the dated event-room and bib windows. Arrive early enough to collect required documents and reach the mountain before your start.
Historical: the undated FAQ mentions Alsa coaches, a waxing station and start-to-finish clothing service, but retains an old Saturday 4 February reference. Unconfirmed: the 2027 coach timetable, fares, booking, equipment carriage, final return, parking allocation and road restrictions. Arrange your complete journey; no event shuttle is promised.
Unconfirmed: step-free approach, accessible toilets, adapted transfer vehicles, spectator admission and individually arranged assistance. A concession category does not establish an accessible journey. Agree your actual needs with the organiser before booking.
