01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
The Sunday programme advertises four free-technique distances, from a short family event to the 42 km marathon. The February 2027 connected challenge is a separate activity and is excluded from this January edition.
Unconfirmed: final tracks, elevation, surfaces and exact distances await the January snow review; the live entry page expects route publication about ten days before the race. Conflicting sources: the current course page, 2027 rules and live registration say 21 km, while the practical page’s start list still says 20 km. No fixed GPX, lap count or current course map is supplied here.
The live entry cards list minimum ages of 6 for 5 km, 10 for 10 km, 16 for 21 km and 18 for 42 km. The course page requires an accompanying adult for the youngest 5 km children; the rules require children under 8 to ski on their own skis with accompaniment. Both skating and traditional technique are permitted by the rules. Conflicting sources: the 42 km course page says FFS licence or race ticket only, while the medical document also describes FIS competitor-licence validation and other licence categories. Check the exact accepted entry class before paying.
The practical page lists collection at the Nordic centre on Friday 29 January 14:00–18:00, Saturday 10:00–19:00 and Sunday 07:00–10:00, with no postal delivery. It describes a numbered bag service. Conflicting sources: Saturday’s programme also starts participant reception at 09:00, and the practical text separately says bib collection closes 15 minutes after race starts. Use the collection window confirmed for your entry and arrive early; do not plan a late pickup from the conflicting wording.
The organiser’s practical terms promise a full entry refund if force majeure cancels the race. A participant’s own refund request requires a medical certificate received within eight days after the event, with payment in the following month. Unconfirmed: final checkout fees, the treatment of optional services and individual contract exceptions are not verified. Read the terms for your selected product before payment; these statements do not insure travel or accommodation.
Historical: Honzach photographed Autrans from the ski-jump hillside on 29 December 2013. This licensed winter village view does not show the 2027 race, final course or present snow and access. Original JPEG retained; responsive display crops under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Sunday public races have distance-specific age and entry requirements; Wednesday and Thursday are separate school programmes. Unconfirmed: final snow-dependent race distances and accepted start lists are not established.
02 / PUBLISHED PROGRAMME
The published timetable.
Wednesday, January 27, 2027
Wednesday · La Foulée des Jeunes
The organiser assigns Wednesday to secondary-school and student activities. Unconfirmed: the final school/university eligibility, entry arrangements and operational timetable need their own current bulletin; Sunday public registration does not cover this day.Thursday, January 28, 2027
Thursday · La Foulée des Enfants
A separate primary-school day is announced. Historical: the retained programme describes CE/CM groups and older edition labels; those details are not treated as a final 2027 school invitation.Saturday, January 30, 2027
Saturday · bib collection and partner village
The partner village is advertised for 10:00–19:00. Historical: the same page retains an inauguration of the 48th edition and an older image label under the 49th heading. Unconfirmed: final Saturday entertainment and elite-presentation hours are not established.Sunday, January 31, 2027
Sunday · four public race starts
Published starts are 42 km at 10:00, advertised 21 km at 10:10, 10 km at 10:20 and 5 km at 10:30; prize-giving is listed from 14:00. These are planned starts, not guaranteed finish or last-return times.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST

Live 2027 entry cards inspected on 1 November 2026
Distance-specific paid participant entry; free partner village is a separate visit. The live cards show 5 km €14, 10 km €17, 21 km €28 and the 42 km November promotion €40, with €17 extra for a non-licensed marathon race ticket. The organiser separately lists an under-8 5 km rate of €10. Conflicting sources: the website’s general tariff ends on 20 January, but the live 5/10/21 km cards say valid through 26 January; late rates begin on 27 January. The pin is not the gate.
The point uses the tourism office’s coordinates for 138 Voie de la Foulée Blanche, the organiser’s named start/finish and bib-collection base. It is a planning reference, not a final course, parking space or accessible entrance.
The organiser advertises a free reserved Sunday coach from Fontaine’s Auchan car park near tram A stop La Poya at 07:30, calling at Sassenage Jean Pévost park-and-ride; return from the drop-off is listed at 15:30. Seats are limited and booking is required. Unconfirmed: available seats, final operating confirmation, accessible boarding and the connection to your last onward service are not established. A slow marathon finish may not fit the advertised return; arrange a confirmed alternative.
The practical page allocates visitor parking in village streets and named public parking areas, while reserving other areas for partners and staff. Follow the actual event signs and avoid unnecessary car movements. The organiser lists a free partner village in the Nordic-centre gymnasium on Saturday 10:00–19:00 and Sunday 07:00–16:00; that does not grant access to the race tracks.
The organiser asks skiers with disabilities to discuss participation and access directly. Unconfirmed: a complete step-free journey, accessible toilets, adapted equipment, course assistance and a guaranteed return are not documented. Give the organiser your specific needs before booking. The tourism office’s snow-dependent rental schedule does not guarantee race-day equipment stock or skiing conditions.
