01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
The main race uses classic technique and separate starting waves. All times below are local to Czechia, Europe/Prague (UTC+01:00). The organiser can alter the course and schedule for snow, weather or safety.
Historical: the organiser route page inspected on 28 October shows a 50.6 km loop and an elevation profile, with the highest point listed at 1,002 m; its downloadable GPX and KML files carry 2025 filenames. Unconfirmed: those older files do not establish the final 2027 route. Follow the final marked course and organiser instructions.
The current main-race page lists cut-offs at Knajpa 11:30, Jizerka 13:30, Smědava 14:15 and Hřebínek 16:00, with a 17:30 finish limit. The organiser may revise these for weather; follow marshals and the final instructions.
Public registration is through SportID, subject to capacity, eligibility and the complete race rules. No final accepted elite field has been verified.

The pin is not the gate.
The pin is based on the organiser-linked route start. It is not a parking entrance, accessible drop-off or a confirmed 2027 start corridor.
The organiser lists Sunday shuttles from Liberec to Bedřichov from 05:30 to 09:00 and returns from 10:30 to 18:00. Participant transport requires the ticket from the race pack; other travellers pay. Confirm the actual boarding point and final timetable. Individual accessible transport and viewing arrangements remain unverified.
Bedřichov is listed as closed to general access on Sunday from 06:00 to 09:30. Parking areas require the appropriate organiser card, subject to capacity; collect cards with bibs. The route pin is not parking permission. The organiser recommends parking in Liberec and continuing by bus.
No race-day bib collection is offered. The linked page lists main-race collection at OC Nisa–INTERSPORT in Liberec on 11–13 February, but retains an old edition heading and a transfer deadline that conflicts with the main-race page. Confirm collection and any transfer directly before travel.
The organiser advertises insufficient-snow cancellation insurance for the 60th edition, with a main-race payout up to CZK 1,645 and reductions for discounted entries. This is a limited policy, not a promise to refund all fees or travel costs; read the full conditions.
