01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
The advertised courses are Streifalm for Super-G, Streif for downhill and Ganslern for slalom. These are controlled elite race venues, not public participation routes. The junior team competition on 20 January and Saturday’s Kitz-Charity-Trophy have separate scopes; their access and participation conditions must not be transferred to the World Cup races.
Conflicting sources: the organiser’s 25 June 2026 programme places Thursday 21 January’s downhill training on Ganslern; the FIS attachment updated 22 September 2026 places it on Streif. This guide omits that disputed training location from its programme and map. Confirm the final training arrangements before travelling.
The linked 2027 sales terms bind a ticket to its date rather than a discipline and normally allow one entry; the two-run race has a re-entry exception after run one. Customer cancellation at least ten days before the race and organiser cancellation at least five days before carry a 10% deduction; later cancellation has no stated ticket refund. Travel and accommodation losses are excluded in the terms. Read the full contract before payment.
Unconfirmed: final spectator boundaries, gate times, race-day safety decisions and the accepted men’s field are not established. Published times do not guarantee a race or access to a particular slope. No organiser course artwork is copied, traced or embedded.
Historical: Roitner’s genuine 24 November 2013 photograph shows Kitzbühel’s old-town street in falling snow. Original JPEG unchanged; responsive display crops under CC BY-SA 4.0. This is host-town context, not a race, its 2027 course or current conditions.
Elite men’s World Cup competition through national teams; a spectator ticket is not a race entry.

Official broadcast hub04 / SPECTATOR ACCESS
The pin is not the gate.
This broad town point is not a start, finish entrance, parking space or accessible route. Follow the organiser’s signed spectator access.
The organiser directs rail spectators to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm station and describes a short walk to the finish, with approaches from the lift side and town centre/Legendenpark. It advertises free parking at Oberndorf and Kirchberg with a rail shuttle, plus Kitzbühel Süd and a longer walk. Hahnenkammbahn and Ganslern car parks are listed closed during race week. Allow extra time and follow signed road restrictions.
Historical: the organiser-linked ÖBB announcement concerns the 23–25 January 2026 races; its 7.5-minute peak service and extra capacity do not establish 2027 transport. Unconfirmed: the dated 22–24 January 2027 timetable, last return after evening ceremonies, capacity, reservations and accessible rail transfers are not established. Check both directions in ÖBB’s planner and arrange a return before travel.
The tourism authority directs wheelchair spectators to andreas.salvenmoser@hahnenkamm.com and identifies accessible toilets. Unconfirmed: step-free station-to-gate access, the allocated viewing position, companion arrangements, toilet availability and an accessible return need individual advance confirmation. A general admission ticket or town pin does not prove a usable route.
