01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
The dated 12 September 2026 announcement and the actual EQ Timing 2027 entry page agree on the edition. Rudland Fjellsenter is the stadium base. The organiser describes forest, rolling upland and exposed mountain terrain; the shorter family options remain distinct from the timed races. All programme times below are venue-local Europe/Oslo, CET (UTC+01:00). A confirmed event date does not establish current trail opening.
The organiser describes a common start across Årvillingen, separation of 45/20 km routes near Vassmillom, a 12 km branch near Skjemtjønna and rejoining sections toward Hovdemyra. Unconfirmed: the final 2027 surveyed line, distances after weather changes and exact station positions. No operator map artwork, GPX or route line is copied or embedded; use final official instructions.
Historical: Øyvind Holmstad photographed Furusjøen and Rondane from Kvamsfjellet on 2 July 2015. This authentic summer context does not establish the 2027 race alignment, current snow, event attendance or access. Original bytes and CC BY-SA 4.0 attribution are retained.
The organiser lists timed 45 km and 20 km races from age 15, untimed individual 12/20 km classes from age 13, and family classes without an age minimum. Age is determined at 31 December of the competition year. A ski licence is required; foreign entrants without an accepted national licence must obtain the organiser’s single-event licence. Confirm the exact category and licence before entering.

45 km cutoff · Frya at 24.5 km

Attend with the live instructions.
The actual public EQ Timing 2027 product list is available and was inspected; no entry form was submitted and checkout was not exercised.
Timed 45 km and 20 km; untimed individual 12/20 km; separate 12/20 km family products. Conflicting sources: the organiser says up to five household members, while the actual portal labels family entries for four or five people. Confirm smaller-household eligibility before payment.. At the 4 November check, the actual 2027 portal lists NOK 625 for 45 km, NOK 480 for timed 20 km, NOK 180 for either individual untimed distance, NOK 595 for the 20 km family product and NOK 540 for the 12 km family product. The organiser assigns these base prices through 31 December, then higher January–17 February and late-entry tiers, plus a NOK 15 administration fee and applicable ski licence. Its single-event licence table lists NOK 120 for ages 13–25 and trim classes, NOK 300 from age 26, and NOK 240 for family entries; children under 13 have separate federation cover and age 80+ is described separately. Conflicting sources: the price section recommends NOK 80 parking, but the stadium/parking sections say NOK 70. Unconfirmed: final payable total, remaining places, binding licence allocation and any amended cancellation/refund terms. Read the actual terms before paying; no live ticket Offer is asserted.

The pin is not the gate.
The rounded point follows the organiser-linked directions to Rudland Fjellsenter, Breiensdokka 9, 2642 Kvam, below Rondablikk. It is a planning reference, not a surveyed start pen, accessible entrance, parking allocation or race route. Follow signed event access and parking staff.
The organiser places the stadium at Rudland Fjellsenter, Breiensdokka 9, about 13 km from the E6. Follow signs for Kvam/Kvamsfjellet and the signed mountain approach; allow for winter road conditions rather than relying on the organiser’s generic journey-time estimates.
The race page describes stadium parking and overflow at Rustugusetra or Bjørgebu, directed by staff. Conflicting sources: parking is NOK 80 in the price section and NOK 70 in stadium/parking text. Confirm the correct fee and payment procedure; a printed prepaid ticket is not a reserved bay.
The organiser lists stadium toilets, a changing tent, kiosk and participant catering, with showers at Kvam Idrettspark around 12 km away. Unconfirmed: final 2027 opening times, step-free surfaces, accessible toilets, individual assistance and transport between those separate sites. Agree individual needs before booking.
Unconfirmed: a 2027 public-transport or event-shuttle timetable, last connection, return from overflow parking, baggage service and spectator access to course-side points. Arrange both outward and return travel; do not infer transport from a route map or the presence of staff.
