01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
This guide covers the women’s race on the opening Sunday of Engadin Marathon Week. The 14 March marathon and half marathon, night race and individual event have separate starts and rules. All times below are local Europe/Zurich, CET (UTC+01:00 on race day).
Skating and classic skiing are allowed. Classic tracks are normally on the right and prepared where weather permits; skating in them is prohibited. Narrow sections use free technique. The organiser describes a mostly flat 17 km route with small rises; this is an endurance event, not an assurance of suitability or present trail access.
Historical: the currently linked start, shared course and S-chanf finish plans have 2026 filenames. Unconfirmed: final 2027 routing, refreshment-post positions, controlled entrances and accessible surfaces. The pin and archive photograph do not certify those details; follow final signs and officials.
Women born in 2012 or earlier may enter; no general qualifying result is required. Previous 2025/2026 Frauenlauf results determine seeded blocks. New entrants may choose the main recreational blocks by expected time; Elite/Elite A applications require qualifying evidence. Capacity and acceptance still apply; read the organiser’s complete eligibility rules.

Attend with the live instructions.
The current organiser page links open 2027 online registration, subject to capacity. No entry, personal-data form or payment was submitted.
Individual 17 km entry; separate Go4Frauenlauf team classification for four women. Team registration closes on 1 February; the current German page lists the regular individual fee plus CHF 10 per person for team classification.. The organiser lists CHF 65 through 30 November 2026, CHF 75 through 15 February 2027 and CHF 95 from 16 February, based on payment receipt and excluding possible transaction fees. Online individual entry closes at 24:00 on 5 March; on-site late entry closes at 09:15 on 7 March if places remain. Without cancellation insurance, withdrawal before 31 December gives a next-year credit, not cash, with at most two deferrals; later withdrawal gives no credit. A named replacement can be requested through 16 February for CHF 40. If the organiser cancels, its rule refunds 80% of the CHF 15 nominal entry component plus only unused service contributions: this is not 80% of the full paid fee. Read the complete current insurance, transfer and cancellation terms before paying.

Official broadcast hub04 / SPECTATOR ACCESS
The pin is not the gate.
Promulins 12, 7503 Samedan is the venue’s published address; the rounded pin follows Swiss federal address data. It is a planning reference for bib collection/start-area approach, not a surveyed start line, accessible entrance or drop-off. The race finishes separately in S-chanf.
The participant fee includes one second-class journey into and out of the Graubünden public-transport network: Frauenlauf arrival 4–7 March and return by 9 March 2027. Landquart–Chur is valid only on Rhätische Bahn. The personalised ticket is due with the bib voucher in late February; the bib covers specified race-Sunday transfers. Spectators must arrange their own valid tickets.
The organiser recommends public transport and prohibits car access to the start area on race day. It lists a Kiss & Go at Aldi in Cho’d Punt, Samedan, with start shuttles 08:00–10:40, plus paid Samedan parking. Unconfirmed: the complete special 7 March train/bus timetable and final return from S-chanf; the access page says it will be published at the beginning of the year. The listed last start-shuttle time is not a return guarantee.
Collect transported bags at the designated finish trucks. The organiser lists liquid refreshments, waxing/repair posts, medical/massage support and pasta. Unconfirmed: final 2027 dietary provision, withdrawal pickup points, step-free spectator access and individual assistance. Arrange specific needs with the organiser; keep the race corridor clear.
