01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
Plan the main race with edition-specific waves, admission documents, entry choices, refunds, timing-chip obligations and arrival limitations. All programme times are local: Europe/Moscow, MSK, UTC+03:00. Historical: the Volga bridge and embankment in Rybinsk on 1 July 2009, photographed by Igor Mironovsky, CC BY 2.0. This summer host-city photograph does not show Demino stadium, the race, its course or current snow. Original pixels preserved; responsive display crops.
The current rules identify a 50 km free-technique race at Demino. The organiser’s undated FAQ advertises four feed points per lap, with water, sports drink, tea, berry drink, dried fruit and pickles. Unconfirmed: the final 2027 course geometry, lap count, measured ascent, exact feed positions and feed menu have not been verified. No operator artwork or GPX is reproduced; the venue point and archive city photograph are not course navigation.
The 2027 rules use prior Demino results and Russialoppet points for seeding, with 2026 Demino performance taking priority. Newcomers are assigned to the seventh wave under the published scheme; late on-site registration can be assigned in registration order. Do not move yourself into a faster wave: the rules impose the gained time plus a 30-minute penalty. Ski changes and course shortcuts are prohibited. The 83% pole-length rule concerns Sunday’s classic race, not a universal rule for this free-technique start.
A reusable chip is compulsory, issued before entering the start corridor and attached above the boot on the lower leg. Return it to the judges at the end of the finish corridor, including after withdrawal or a no-start. Conflicting sources: the 2027 sporting rules and event page state a EUR 100 equivalent charge for a lost, damaged or unreturned chip, while the linked participant-conditions document states EUR 80. Obtain the applicable amount before accepting the chip; this guide does not select one as settled.
Unconfirmed: exact 2027 intermediate cutoffs, finish closure, final compulsory carried kit, wax restrictions and evacuation arrangements are not established by the inspected sources. Obtain the final race briefing. Report a withdrawal to an official, return the chip and follow medical and marshal decisions; a published awards time is not a finish cutoff.
The 2027 rules admit up to 2,500 suitably trained main-race entrants: men born in 2008 or earlier and women born in 2006 or earlier, with age calculated on 31 December 2027. Admission requires identity documentation, the original medical certificate explicitly permitting the chosen ski-marathon distance, and accident insurance. The rules require the certificate to remain valid and be no more than one year old; they cite the current medical form and admission requirements. A copy without the original is insufficient. The organiser says race accident insurance is included for 50 km entries paid before 26 February 2027; later entrants must provide a valid policy, with an online registry address for an electronic policy. Unconfirmed: acceptance of a particular foreign medical document, required translation, individual insurance coverage and your final admission must be agreed with the organiser before paying or travelling.

Early bib collection
The 2027 rules list bib collection for all distances at Café Finish, first and second floors. Complete the admission-document check; a paid slot alone does not establish permission to race.Friday, March 5, 2027
Main-race bib collection
The 50 km desk is on the second floor of Café Finish. Friday morning’s 10:00–12:00 desk serves other distances and is not the main 50 km collection window.Friday, March 5, 2027
Participant briefing and package-dependent pasta party
The main 50 km and Sunday classic briefing is listed on the first floor of Café Finish. The Startovy entry tariff excludes the pasta party; do not assume that every entry includes it.Saturday, March 6, 2027
Race-morning bib collection
Café Finish, second floor. Opening ceremony is listed at 10:45. Unconfirmed: the precise 50 km pen-entry closing time is not established in the inspected 2027 programme; obtain it and allow time for documents, chip collection and seeding.Saturday, March 6, 2027

Published main-race awards
The 2027 programme lists overall/younger-group awards at 14:30 and groups from age 40 at 16:10. Conflicting sources: the PDF’s separate awards chapter carries a 6 February 2027 heading, while its race/programme sections and Russialoppet page place the race on 6 March. Unconfirmed: final ceremony details require the participant instructions; neither time is a finish cutoff.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST
Attend with the live instructions.
The official Russialoppet registration landing page is accessible and requires an account login. No registration, payment or personal details were submitted. Unconfirmed: live places, payment acceptance and the final individual checkout total are not verified.

Unconfirmed: acceptance of a particular foreign medical document, required translation, individual insurance coverage and your final admission must be agreed with the organiser before paying or travelling. Choose the main 50 km free-technique entry. Standard and Startovy tariffs differ: the non-refundable Startovy option excludes finish food, the pasta party and the branded hat, and does not receive the advertised discounts. The standard scope includes race bib, marked/prepared course, chip timing, medical assistance, on-course and finish feeding, with a finisher medal for completing the distance. Multi-race packages are separate purchases.. Checked 30 October 2026: the published standard 50 km fee is RUB 6,500 through 31 October, RUB 7,000 from 1 November through 31 December, RUB 7,500 in January and RUB 8,500 from 1–25 February 2027. The Startovy tariff is RUB 5,000 through December; standard on-site entry is listed at RUB 10,000 if places remain. The rules say commission and accident insurance are included for the stated distances. Conflicting sources: the web fee table’s on-site column retains 4 March 2026, the PDF’s 50 km fee row says 4 February 2027, and its seeding section discusses on-site entry from 4 March 2027. Do not treat on-site availability as guaranteed. Unconfirmed: the final payable selection, discount entitlement and individual payment conditions require the actual official booking.

Official broadcast hub04 / SPECTATOR ACCESS
The pin is not the gate.
The point is the venue coordinate published by Russialoppet, not a surveyed start pen, parking entrance, spectator gate or accessible approach. The organiser’s address is Demino 104, Rybinsk district, Yaroslavl Oblast. Use final participant instructions for the permitted arrival route.
The organiser describes road approaches from Moscow via Yaroslavl and towards Tutaev/Rybinsk, then signs for Demino and the ski stadium. It advertises an upper parking area with 3,000 spaces. Unconfirmed: final race-day road restrictions, parking allocation, charges, snow clearance and the walk or transfer to the stadium are not established; advertised capacity is not a reserved place.
The organiser’s general arrival text lists Moscow–Rybinsk rail and Moscow–Yaroslavl connections, buses towards Rybinsk and a taxi onward from Yaroslavl. Unconfirmed: the March 2027 train/bus timetable, race shuttle, exact stop, booking availability and final return connection have not been verified. The undated train number and weekdays are not accepted here as a current itinerary. Arrange both the outward and return journey independently.
The published bib/briefing venue has first- and second-floor rooms. Unconfirmed: step-free admission, lifts, accessible toilets, adapted-race eligibility, transport boarding and individual assistance are not established. A disability entry discount subject to documents and available places does not confirm an accessible journey. Agree the full arrangement with the organiser before relying on it.
Unconfirmed: final spectator entry rules, authorised viewing areas, changing/showers, baggage storage, rental and service hours are not established. Stay outside the race corridor and follow the event’s final instructions; the ordinary venue address is not unrestricted access.
