01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
Plan Dachsteinlauf 2027 in Ramsau with skating and classic distances, entry-deadline conflicts, bib collection, practical services and explicit course, safety and return limits.
The current event and linked route pages place the start and finish at WM Stadion Ramsau. The organiser advertises 40 km and 10 km routes on both weekend days, with skating on Saturday and classic on Sunday. These are published distances, not our measurement of a final 2027 course.
Unconfirmed: the linked regional 10 km and 40 km tour maps have no explicit final 2027 course acceptance. They currently label their trails closed and list 130 m and 525 m ascent respectively; their one-hour and four-hour estimates are tour durations, not race cutoffs. Use the organiser’s final route and briefing; no artwork or GPX has been copied or traced.
Unconfirmed: final 2027 geometry, lap changes, junction control, road crossings, cutoff times, sweep procedure and any shortened snow course are not established. Remain on the marked event route and follow staff; a general Nordic trail or approximate venue pin supplies no race-day access permission.
The organiser offers 40 km and 10 km races, a Saturday 10 km team competition, Friday children’s races and a 5 km untimed culinary ski outing. Teams have at least four members; the four fastest times count. Unconfirmed: final minimum ages, junior/adult eligibility and compulsory documents for each individual product. General all-ages wording is not permission for a child to enter any distance.

The pin is not the gate.
The current Time2Win event publishes this WM Stadion Ramsau coordinate. It is an approximate planning reference, not a surveyed start gate, parking entrance, accessible route or race-course map.
The organiser’s expanded FAQ points to signed parking by the start area. Unconfirmed: actual capacity, charges, accessible bays, road restrictions, race shuttles and the last outward/return service. Plan the complete journey back to your car or accommodation, including after withdrawal; no transport is assumed included.
Conflicting sources: the programme’s bib heading ends with “Saturday, January 17”, although 17 January 2027 is Sunday. Its detailed list and dated FAQ give Friday 15 January 16:00–19:00, Saturday 16 January 07:30–09:30 and Sunday 17 January 07:30–09:30; the FAQ additionally lists Saturday 13:30–14:30. The published refreshment locations are Helpferer twice, Walcherhof, Alpenbad, Brandlhof and the start/finish. Unconfirmed: their final distribution across each 2027 distance and available supplies. Arrange your own suitable food, fluids and equipment rather than treating this list as guaranteed coverage.
Spectators are welcomed in the official FAQ. Unconfirmed: controlled viewing areas, free entry to every side event, step-free continuous access and final assistance arrangements. Contact the organiser about specific needs before travel.
