01 / EVENT OVERVIEW
What defines this edition.
The FIS edition record confirms both disciplines, race days and run times. All times below use Europe/Zurich, CET (UTC+01:00). Choose your day, viewing sector and complete return before booking. The finish arena, Fanzone, Chäla hillside and hospitality offers have different access; an event ticket is separate from ordinary resort skiing.
The finish-area Tribüne is standing-room grandstand access. Fanzone tickets cover the Helvetia and Rivella fan zones and the World Cup village. Chäla is a separate hillside picnic/viewing sector, with an advertised walk of about 40 minutes and village admission only from 15:00 under its ticket offer. Conflicting sources: an older FAQ paragraph still says Chäla is included with a Fanzone ticket; the current 2027 ticket page and the FAQ’s new Chäla entry require its own ticket. Treat the sectors as separate and confirm your chosen category.
Historical: the FAQ’s warm-up piste and public lift restrictions explicitly mention 10 January 2026. They do not establish the 2027 ski approach, public piste access or an authorised descent alongside the racecourse. Stay outside controlled competition areas and follow current barriers and staff. Unconfirmed: final 2027 spectator-sector boundaries, ski access and return permissions need the current race-week instructions.
The official destination and FIS links below provide public starting points. Organiser sources are named as unlinked provenance because its website notice requires prior consent for public linking or reuse. Direct organiser-site and ticket-shop hyperlinks, logos, map artwork, brochures and race photographs are omitted; no such consent is assumed. This independently written factual guide is not represented as organiser-approved material.
Historical: the independently licensed 29 June 2008 photograph shows the Kuonisbärgli settlement in summer. It does not document the World Cup race, winter facilities, current snow, a viewing-sector boundary or a safe approach.
A FIS World Cup competition, rather than an open public race. Spectators need the correct day and viewing-sector ticket. Athlete entry follows FIS and national-team procedures; a spectator ticket does not authorise racing, skiing the course or accessing team areas.

Friday · separate hospitality evening
The current ticket page lists Chuenis Hautnah at HOUSE OF SUNRISE for CHF 185 per person. This optional evening is separate from the two race days. Saturday · published World Cup shuttle windows
The organiser’s explicitly dated 2027 travel page lists outward shuttles from P+R Reichenbach and Frutigen station, and return shuttles from the World Cup village via Frutigen to Reichenbach. The regular local bus is listed from 05:30 until 23:00 according to its timetable; these windows are not guaranteed individual connections.Sunday, January 10, 2027
Sunday · men’s slalom, first and second runs
The actual FIS 2027 event record lists race codex 0029 with these two run times. A Saturday ticket does not admit you on Sunday.Sunday, January 10, 2027
Sunday · earlier end to the return service
The dated 2027 travel page ends the World Cup return shuttle at 19:00, while the regular local bus is listed until 18:00 according to timetable. Plan your onward train and final accommodation transfer separately; do not copy Saturday’s later service into Sunday.03 / TICKETS & BROADCAST
Attend with the live instructions.
Published 2027 category prices checked 3 November 2026; availability and checkout require confirmation
Correct race day and sector; Chäla is separate from Fanzone. The organiser lists VAT-inclusive Saturday/Sunday prices: Tribüne standing CHF 130/80; Fanzone adult CHF 75/50 and child CHF 55/25; Chäla adult CHF 70/45 and child CHF 50/10. Child rates are for ages 6–15.99, with under-six admission free where a child tariff is offered; categories without a child tariff use their regular price. The listed World Cup shuttle from Reichenbach/Frutigen is included. Hospitality differs: VIP Lounge CHF 890/495 and Stangenwald CHF 480/270; Bügellift is CHF 320 on Saturday. Sunday Family Day is CHF 110 per adult and CHF 65 per child, with at least one adult and one child. The FAQ says there is no race-day ticket office and shows the grandstand sold out. The June 2026 terms prohibit customer cancellation, while rebooking or upgrades depend on availability; race cancellation/change refunds have separate time limits and exclusions. Unconfirmed: live remaining stock, the exact checkout total, accessible admission, resale eligibility and individual cancellation/refund entitlement must be checked before paying. No live Offer is asserted in structured data.

The pin is not the gate.
The destination’s Chuenisbärgli coordinate is an area reference, not a surveyed entrance, parking space, accessible drop-off or safe walking route. Use the signed approach for your actual ticket sector.
The 2027 travel page advises rail to Frutigen from Bern or Brig, then the signed World Cup shuttle. It advertises roughly 40 minutes from Frutigen and 45 minutes from P+R Reichenbach. P+R Reichenbach costs CHF 15 per car per day; the organiser says no visitor parking is available in Adelboden on the race days. Allow additional time for queues, security and the final walk.
The Saturday shuttle returns 14:30–23:00; Sunday returns 14:30–19:00. Ordinary Frutigen–Adelboden buses are chargeable and separate from the included World Cup shuttle. Unconfirmed: exact extra-train departures, last onward rail connection, Moonliner departures/fares, disruption arrangements and the complete door-to-door return are not verified. Check the current transport timetable and book accommodation or a backup return before travelling.
Group/fan-club coaches cannot enter the World Cup village; the organiser directs them to the Sillerenbahn base with an advance parking/transit permit. Its stated walks are around 20 minutes to the village/finish area and 40 minutes to Chäla. These estimates are not an accessible route or a guarantee of safe winter surfaces.
The FAQ offers a special wheelchair grandstand and asks visitors to arrange tickets and travel with the office. Unconfirmed: a continuous step-free transfer, companion policy, accessible toilets, exact viewing capacity and assisted evacuation are not established. Contact the organiser before paying and plan the entire return for your needs.
The current FAQ describes barcode exchange for a securely worn wristband, age/ID checks and no replacement of lost or damaged wristbands. Bring official identification. It lists food stands, cash/card payment and cashless lockers, with no on-site ATM; confirm availability and do not rely on storage for valuables. Arrange accommodation early.
